My uncle had one, a 1948 model. I used it in 1979 with a drag harrow to turn my grandfathers big garden. 31 years old and it was still a workhorse. I think he traded it away for a '67 Mustang fastback around 1986. Sure had a hard time finding parts for it.
Yeah, and parts are now even harder to find. The old tractors are indeed workhorses with out all the fancy electronics on them. Like a Timex used to be, "Take a licking, and keep on ticking!"

We have a Avery. I bought it at auction for $12.50 over 50 yeas ago.
