In our latest video, we take you on a full-day tour of the former capital (up until 1975) of Laos.
Luang Prabang is a beautiful historical heritage site and a city not to be missed when visiting Laos.
The old town is almost perfectly preserved, showcasing French Colonial buildings made from all kinds of wood, walking around here feels like visiting a (free) open-air museum.
It is a very enjoyable experience, as you can have some tasty and cheap Lao food made here and there at one of the most beautiful temples in Northern Laos.
After that, we decide to rent a bicycle and go even further to have a little refreshing drink next to the Mekong river before celebrating our first start of the New Year together in a foreign country. There were parties everywhere on the street, and the atmosphere was joyful all over, definitely a night to remember.
