Borderlands 2 builds upon the gameplay elements introduced in its predecessor. It is a first-person shooter that includes character-building elements found in role-playing games, leading Gearbox to call the game a "role-playing shooter." At the start of the game, players select one of four new characters, each with a unique special skill and with proficiencies with certain weapons. From then on, players take on quests assigned through non-player characters or from bounty boards, each typically rewarding the player with experience points, money, and sometimes a reward item. Players earn experience by killing foes and completing in-game challenges (such as getting a certain number of kills using a specific type of weapon). As they gain levels from experience growth, players can then allocate skill points into a skill tree that features three distinct specializations of the base character
Borderlands 2 begins with the player fighting to the death to win a priceless cache of loot in a gladiatorial tournament run by Handsome Jack for his personal amusement. The player succeeds and gains notoriety, but Handsome Jack sees this as a threat to his popularity with the people. At the tournament's end he denies the reward and leaves the player for dead in a tundra. The mysterious Guardian Angel from the first game then contacts the player and explains that Handsome Jack must be killed, directing the player to rescue the four original vault hunters from Hyperion's clutches to accomplish this. Although Jack's full intentions are unknown, part of his plan involves finding an ancient evil named "The Warrior" that is located somewhere on Pandora

I remember farming for the Hive. it took me 13 hours to get it. I wasn't burnt out at all afterwords. nowadays it might be different cause destiny has changed me.
These clips have been rocketing through my recommended and I'm on the best nostalgia trip I've been on yet.
Bahroo will not give up and I highly respect and admire that. He turns his anger and or annoyance into fine comedy.

1. You expect to be farming for hours but get what you want immediately.
2. You expect to farm for two or three runs but end up farming for hours.
3. You get something you want whilst not farming on a whim without even knowing you wanted it.

Here's what happened 2weeks ago: "Im bored imma farm Saturn Idk what he drops but..." *kills him once gets nothing* *asks a friend what he drops* *friend says Hive* *kills him a second time gets the Hive as the notification message saying "the Hive is extremely rare though" pops up* XD
The only problem with farming Saturn for the HIVE is he has NO, critical spots! Check with Zero, no critical spots appear, it is honestly beyond annoying to try and farm a boss and they don't have crit spots...
... I got this rocket launcher on the 9th time killing him... Never knew it was this f***ing rare... I like my steak medium rare... Mmm... Medium rare.
So, chairs farming for the Hive, I've seen that before but dude, the chair can't influence the drop chances... that's just crazy...

I've farmed the hive for 3 hours, 1 hour a day. Here's what I got: 3 op6 invaders, an op7 invader, an op8 invader, 2 op6 proximate hives, and an op8 proximate hive.

I don't even think this is as good an example of a man's insanity as it is how awful drop rates can be in this game. BL1 had legendaries that were much more common, made them feel less special yea but they were still obtainable to the common player who didn't want to farm. Only the pearlescents were excluded to one boss, and even then they weren't required weapons.
This is me right now trying to farm the sham. Ive killed BNK-3R like 100 times and ive only gotten the bitch a few times.(i know it not even close to what hes doing or spent as much time)
I got it on my 2nd attempt on killing Saturn..... didn't get that excited I was just like "oh cool isn't this that rocket launcher that people say is rare nice!"
