Both those statements are true, but both testify to the mental resilience of Nick Matthew. Call it stubbornness if you like, but that's a strength in squash that not many players have.

wow 2 nd game 5:1 and then 7 each..rare to see matthew outwitted at his own game style..and yes the no let was a fairly good decision when seen from the front wall camera...end match hug was amazing by shabana. Amazing sports person.

That no let was slightly harsh.. ball may have been good but if shabana wasn't in the way.. Nick can easily get to the ball..
