In this video, I have explained how to reach Coorg, where to stay, food option, travel option and important tourist places to visit in Coorg.
How to reach - we have reached Coorg in 1 day. Booked Vande Bharat train # 20703 which started from Kacheguda rly stn at 5:45 am and reached Yesvantpur jn at 2 noon. Train charge per person - Rs. 1700/- which includes the cost of food as well.
At 3:15 we boarded a A/c Bus to Madikeri from kempegowda bus stand and reached Coorg at 9:30 pm. Bus fare around 750/- per person
We stayed in hotel Navratna Comforts which is very near to bus stand. This was booked from booking.com website. You can contact Mr. Dikshit Hotel employee) who can help you with hotel reservations. Charges per day Rs. 2600/-. Hotel contact details 91+ 8904704450.

Mr. Ranjith was our cab driver who was very helpful in advising places to visit and to skip due to bad weather conditions. You can contact him. Charges per day was Rs. 2500/- . You can contact him at 91+9449666821.
Famous restaurant to visit - Coorg Cuisine for lunch and dinner and for breakfast Udupi grand. However there are many other good restaurants which you can try.

Places we could not visit due to heavy rains -
Abbey falls

Madikeri fort, Raja Tomb
Mandalpatti (not advisable for elderly and people with infant kids).
