The Inca Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu

In June of 2019, I had the absolute pleasure of travelling through Peru with Mega Expeditions and joining them on the Inca Jungle Trek; one of the most adventures journeys in all of South America. The trek takes you through the Andes, across parts of the Inca trail, on mountain bikes down winding roads, into hot springs, over canyons, and down the Urubamba river for some of the most exhilarating white water rafting I've ever done.
Spanning across 3 days and 4 nights, this is certainly one of the best and most fun methods of arriving at Machu Picchu. It may be all over your Instagram feeds, but this location truly is a marvel that will leave you speechless (and the hiking to get there makes it all worth it). If you are considering a hike to get to one of the seven wonders of the world, the Inca Jungle Trek may be the most fun way to do so!

Great video. I loved Peru when I hiked the trail a few years ago. We also stayed at an eco lodge in the jungle. Peru is definitely a must-do for the adventure-traveler.
