Exploring Budapest: District X

Budapest’s 10th district is a mostly suburban area of town today, but its residential streets have seen plenty of history during their time. The district’s name, Kőbánya, refers to quarrying in the area dating back to the Middle Ages, and Kőér utca - “Stone Ore Street” - still preserves the memory of this old association. We take a look at District X in our latest video.
