4. The microwave food in convenience stores. There's an instruction for microwave buttons (Numbers) on the food. Basically, the clerk just did what the instruction said. IDK the true situation, but I doubt the plastic lid was melted, it was more like it was pressed by air so the lid was bended. The air inside the food gets shricked (?) when the lid doesn't open a hole, so it causes the lid gets bended. 13:25. There's a U-shaped cracked on the lid so it prevents the lid get bended. A few clerks just don't give a damn about this, I know, but I don't meet this situation often.
During an accident i lost some of my hearing-capabilities as well. I can totally relate to this, especially the first weeks and months were an absolute nightmare as hearing on one ear was basically down to the last 5%. It slowly recovered bit by bit but never came back close to full capacity. I really hope you are getting better Brez and sending all the love to you! I wish you better weeks ahead, as these last ones haven't been kind to you. 🙏
If you’re still in Taipei and your headache is not too bad, I recommend you to visit the Tchang Kai-chek Memorial, the Taipei Confucius Temple and the Longshan Temple. Also, if you want to chill in a nice coffee shop for your video editing, you can go to the Costumice Coffee. It was my favorite coffee place when I was in Taipei earlier this year. :)
11:06 That big red sign with only four letters means "intestine noodle". As a Taiwanese, I pretty recommand you to eat that, though you may not like it because it's unique taste and the organ. Also, if you see 50嵐, I recommand the "four season tea with coconut jelly, pearl, boba". It's my most favorite from them. And I hope you enjoy the convenience store here XD, it's pretty much different than you see in other countries.

I don't know if you remember me, but we used to talk in your live chats, the thing you said about people staring I can completely relate to that as I have been in China for 6 years now and considering the fact China and Taiwan are not very different from each other it is considered normal for people to stare at you. I have been told that the reason I get stared at is because of my height I'm 6"6, you are also very tall so the staring is inevitable 😂😂😂

I feel sorry for you because Taiwanese food is made with fresh ingredients and are cheap. But you need to go to a real eatery instead of convenience stores. As for the stares, it could be because the place you stayed is far from tourist areas. Either way, they are really friendly. Just strike up a conversation and you will understand how helpful the people are.
