Dimash's versatility is amazing that's why his audience is so diverse and growing. What I like about Dimash is that he enjoys performing; he puts his heart and soul into every song, he holds nothing back. Dimash doesn't just show up for a song. He's present, he's in the moment with the song whether he's rapping, scatting, being operatic, rocking it out, ballads, movie soundtracks, etc. He's always surprising us. There is always a Dimash song to fit a particular mood. Amazing artist. Go well.

Sabrina. One of my all time favorite videos of Dimash is his pairing with Wu Tong performing "Jasmine." It's a treat for the eyes, ears and a culture awakening. It is a visual, audible and cultural masterpiece. There are many videos of their performance. BTV 2018 Chinese New Year Gala version is great to view to watch the two singers work well together). Wu Tong is also a classical musician, singer, composer and Grammy Award winning artist.

There is a video of him making the MV, they have a big tank and he had to dive in over and over to get the effect required, it must have been so tiring but Dimash is such a hard worker and perfectionist, he would never give up, he just keeps going and going until he is happy. On his Singer performances he learned a Chinese song in a week, then added some Chinese to Confessor, so it was half chinese and half Italian he sang a further song in Chinese. He practised for hours and hours to get the songs right. He really deserves all our love, respect and admiration for giving us the gift of his talent, for sacrificing his childhood and for his love of this beautiful artform that is Dimash 💖💖💖💖

Dear Sabina, it would have been so much better to have done the music video first so you could see the changes he made for the live performance on the weekly music show Idol Hits. By the way, for the music video Dimash did the backup vocal track and he played the piano and the drums. He plays 7 instruments so drums was no problem and he won his first piano playing award when he was 6.

Yes, I like both of them. They were so different! The version from Idol hits was much more poppy and fresh and the music video was more clean with the operatic staccato at the end and no rap!

Going forward, I wonder if you ever listened to Chris Stapleton songs, in particular, “Sometimes I Cry” and “Death Row”. He is not in the league of Dimash and the genre is totally different, but in his own right Chris is impressive. Give him a try with your friend.

He introduced "Screaming" MV first on 24th birthday in 2018, then he performed it in Idol Hits in November 2018 , I think. In his album also there MV version of "Screaming", his album was a platinum hit in first 37 seconds and was triple platinum in one hour. 😊😊😊 The rapping part has English subtitles (put CC on) in video from his. 👍👍BTW he did the back vocals himself, and played drums and piano too. There are backstage videos of shooting and filming MV and rehearsals of the Idol hits performances in Gloria Wu channel👍

Hello Sabina. Good to see you so calm and happy with the presentation. Quite different from the more lyrical songs, isn't it ?. It is a very cheerful video. He is very versatile to compose music. The moment he sings that song, the "Dears" literally go crazy and scream a lot as the name of the song "Screaming" says, and with his encouragement. Even I keep screaming here at home. haha ha. In this concert, this scene with fire was his project. I watched a video of the preparation, he supervising and testing the cue as he had programmed. A grace and boldness on the part of Rap. He can do everything himself. He sang this song in a Miss contest, but as the event was more formal, he was in a suit and was more restrained. It didn't do the Rap part, but it did the stacato as in the video clip you went through. I wonder how the contestants had to work hard to keep the class with him on stage. I prefer it that way in your concert, free, light and loose. He is very happy and that is what we like. In fact, on the video clip, I saw a behind the scenes video of the recording of that part of the dive. Hi Sabina,Wow, couldn't believe when I saw you had gotten round to this …. told you, you wouldn't cry !! As Shanialover below said I wish you had done the MV first but you weren't to know, and its true besides the lead vocals he did the full backing track along with the piano and drum tracks. There is a vid about the making of this, it was released on his 24th birthday and was his first single in English and you wouldn't believe that for the few seconds of him under water he was in that tank for 10 hrs, he was dancing under water and doing acrobatics, the team kept giving him towels to dry off then he just kept jumping back in. Idol hits is a Chinese pop show highlighting the biggest hits of the year, he said he wanted to do a few changes, movie style opening, some folky elements but he didn't mention the rap at all, big surprise, as usual a great enthusiastic reaction "Screaming" isn't like the big classical showstoppers we're used to but its fun. On the "ID" cd he features the original and a remix version again quite different 👌👌👌👌😊😊💕

I really like your reactions ! First version of Screaming (Idol Hits) was for the show and the second (MV) was for vocal virtuosity. In my opinion, I repeat that is my opinion, MV is full performed by Dimash ... that means voices (including background) and instruments and mixed in a studio. I might be wrong but this is my feeling ...

Dimash can rap too!😉 Not sure if it was in his Mother language but if your captions works you can read the words...which is inspiring! I'm sure watching this live concert with him on stage shows you what it's going to be like, going to an actually one and seeing him in person😍! P.S. Want to mention Dimash can "dance" too! See the song "Give Me 'Your' Love" You will notice he tried in this one to stay focus on it the whole time while singing, as he usually doesn't do both together most of the time when he is on the stage! In his entire Tribute to Michael Jackson, he had to dance and sing together, which I'm sure was a challenge for him... but he managed to pull it off. Our Prince! Not to mention he was a great fan off MJ. Also Please be aware, the song "Give Me 'Your' Love ", is the right one, in it he is wearing a white suit. There is another song that sounds similar, names are close but Please be aware "Give Me Love", is not the same. Screaming was his first English single! But I wish you would have watched the music video first to hear the whole song, then the concert....because the rap is as I like to think of it a "surprise". And in the idol hits you don't get the whole song and the layering of him doing the different voices as in the mv...don't get me wrong I LOVE the live one as he's in his element and having SO MUCH FUN!!!💖 He's rapping in kasak...if you put your captions on you can go back and see what he says! Yes, I like both of them. They were so different! The version from Idol hits was much more poppy and fresh and the music video was more clean with the operatic staccato at the end and no rap!

One cannot but be impressed by his supra human vocal cords and his all round artistic and performing abilities. His is sublime. Going forward, I wonder if you ever listened to Chris Stapleton songs, in particular, “Sometimes I Cry” and “Death Row”. He is not in the league of Dimash and the genre is totally different, but in his own right Chris is impressive. Give him a try with your friend.

He introduced "Screaming" MV first on 24th birthday in 2018, then he performed it in Idol Hits in November 2018 , I think. In his album also there MV version of "Screaming", his album was a platinum hit in first 37 seconds and was triple platinum in one hour. 😊😊😊 The rapping part has English subtitles (put CC on) in video from his. 👍👍BTW he did the back vocals himself, and played drums and piano too. There are backstage videos of shooting and filming MV and rehearsals of the Idol hits performances in Gloria Wu channel👍

Hello Sabina. Good to see you so calm and happy with the presentation. Quite different from the more lyrical songs, isn't it ?. It is a very cheerful video. He is very versatile to compose music. The moment he sings that song, the "Dears" literally go crazy and scream a lot as the name of the song "Screaming" says, and with his encouragement. Even I keep screaming here at home. haha ha. In this concert, this scene with fire was his project. I watched a video of the preparation, he supervising and testing the cue as he had programmed. A grace and boldness on the part of Rap. He can do everything himself. He sang this song in a Miss contest, but as the event was more formal, he was in a suit and was more restrained. It didn't do the Rap part, but it did the stacato as in the video clip you went through. I wonder how the contestants had to work hard to keep the class with him on stage. I prefer it that way in your concert, free, light and loose. He is very happy and that is what we like. In fact, on the video clip, I saw a behind the scenes video of the recording of that part of the dive. He swims very well, and played a lot during the scenes.

Dimash has changed in the style of singing this song and actually it’s his idea. I have seen the clip from China before he wanted to present this song in “ Idol Hit” . He always involved in every detail of the song. And if you have seen during the filming of video “ Screaming “ you would love him more. 💕

Hi Sabina,Wow, couldn't believe when I saw you had gotten round to this …. told you, you wouldn't cry !! As Shanialover below said I wish you had done the MV first but you weren't to know, and its true besides the lead vocals he did the full backing track along with the piano and drum tracks. There is a vid about the making of this, it was released on his 24th birthday and was his first single in English and you wouldn't believe that for the few seconds of him under water he was in that tank for 10 hrs, he was dancing under water and doing acrobatics, the team kept giving him towels to dry off then he just kept jumping back in. Idol hits is a Chinese pop show highlighting the biggest hits of the year, he said he wanted to do a few changes, movie style opening, some folky elements but he didn't mention the rap at all, big surprise, as usual a great enthusiastic reaction "Screaming" isn't like the big classical showstoppers we're used to but its fun. On the "ID" cd he features the original and a remix version again quite different 👌👌👌👌😊😊💕

First version of Screaming (Idol Hits) was for the show and the second (MV) was for vocal virtuosity.
In my opinion, I repeat that is my opinion, MV is full performed by Dimash ... that means voices (including background) and instruments and mixed in a studio.
I might be wrong but this is my feeling ...

You picked the best two versions - I love the Idol Hits for the rapping (apparently a very good rap!). And the MV is brilliant - the sound is so clear, the visuals amazing & I love the layers of his voice. Dimash can rap too!😉 Not sure if it was in his Mother language but if your captions works you can read the words...which is inspiring! I'm sure watching this live concert with him on stage shows you what it's going to be like, going to an actually one and seeing him in person😍! P.S. Want to mention Dimash can "dance" too! See the song "Give Me 'Your' Love" You will notice he tried in this one to stay focus on it the whole time while singing, as he usually doesn't do both together most of the time when he is on the stage! In his entire Tribute to Michael Jackson, he had to dance and sing together, which I'm sure was a challenge for him... but he managed to pull it off. Our Prince! Not to mention he was a great fan off MJ. Also Please be aware, the song "Give Me 'Your' Love ", is the right one, in it he is wearing a white suit. There is another song that sounds similar, names are close but Please be aware "Give Me Love", is not the same. Screaming was his first English single! But I wish you would have watched the music video first to hear the whole song, then the concert....because the rap is as I like to think of it a "surprise".
