I fucking LOVE your emphasis on "no hacks, no shortcuts". You embody the principles you espouse. You maintain a high standard of playing and teaching. Thank you...and may you continue to be inspired AND to enjoy the company of great human beings who also play really well ! 😎🙏🏽👍🏽Cheers!
I've ordered the book from Amazon - through repetiton I learnt the alterd scale through the cycle of 4th's in the open position on my 4 string - I understand everything you're saying here yet need to put it all together so thank you for joining more of the dots together for me! I also, as you say, need to listen so thanks for the 'listening list' - Superb ending! 👍😊
Hi Janek, great lessons as always. I like a lot the drum loops you used here, Could you tell me where I can buy them? I find them very pleasant and useful to study on
Almost all the play alongs you hear in my videos, when referencing a book like this, are included with the books. I make packages of them based on the material, and build out frameworks for the reader to work through every exercise with a play along.

@@janekgwizdala Some years ago, I bought "Chordal Harmony", "All the Good Stuff" and "All the Better Stuff", those books didn't include drum loops to study on, right? The play alongs rhythmic content, are included only in your last books, I guess
I started playing with a high C years ago, and realized without that, a lot of these cords just don't sound well without that string. It looks like you got a new bass? I can't see the headstock what is the make and model?

Janek, you have THE best 'bass face' in the world. Also, amazing playing and video.
