    Good homilies and good theology simple but not lacking in correct necessary information.I would add our anger is natural but when it turns into resentment we must never pretend as many do but must allow God to enable us to find peace and a mind free of hatred of the other but as you say not the act,we may take years to transform this .No it does ,please preach to Benjamin Netonayu, he needs to be told are we all in some way culpable in such diabolic war mongering .

    There were a lot of verses in the Bible that states that God does in fact, forget our sins once we confess repent from those sins .
    The sins by which we will be judged after death will be unrepented sins. Hence when a sin is confessed and forgiveness received, it is no longer reckoned to us by God. Scripture says, “For I will forgive their evil ldoing and remember their sins no more” (Heb 8:12).

    I'm really struggling. I'm wanting badly to forgive from the heart. Struggling to forgive my husband and his mistress. Two years now since he abandoned me and has been heartless and cruel. Mistress has been stalking me relentlessly, she is paranoid my husband will leave her or is cheating on her. Horrible situation and im trying to find it in my heart to forgive. Sometimes i really struggle with anger and find it hard to forgive but I must and I want to but it's so, so hard. Lord, show me your way, help me to become the daughter you want me to be. I long for peace and forgiveness. Have mercy on me, my family and those I do not love as I should. Please help us, please heal us.

      this helped me- Do sign if the cross, "say in the name of the father, son and holy spirit, please forgive ____ for _____. Let me be at peace lord".
      - Pray the rosary everyday for peace
      - See a psychologist to talk out this trauma.
      - Surround yourself with people who love and support you. If you need more friends, go out and live your life with hobbies that require meeting people, you will build friends there x
      - Offer all moments of grief you feel to God, and pray with how you feel now and what you want to be in the future ❤️
      I went through grieving a relationship and it helped over time but it took a minimum of 6 months. Still going through but feel much better

    I find that if i separate the person from their evil behavior and forgive the person, its easier. So it is that heinously evil behavior is inspired by satan. And i guess if the person knew better they would not have done what the devil inspired them to do. It has taken time to get there. We never have to be ok with what was done but just let the person free.

    This is so confusing, God is all forgiving but yet he won’t forgive us if we don’t forgive our enemies. I can forgive them after they’ve paid for their crimes.

      God cannot forget! As Father says, "God is All Knowing". When the Bible says He will remember our sins no more, it means He will no longer hold our sin against us.

    “Love the sinner - hate the sin” is not christian idea ! For the Psalmist says even God hates the sinner!

    • @vievee2000
      @vievee2000 Рік тому +3

      Wisdom 11:24 God cannot hate his creation for God says everything he made is good.
      Matt 5:44 " Love your enemies" God hates Sin, not the sinner.❤ Do the full study, with the full Bible not the one with 7 Holy Books removed, or the man made Faiths.

      @@vievee2000 The Lord then rained sulfur and fire from the heavens upon Sodom and Gomorrah.(Gen 19:24); The Lord tests the upright and the wicked; he detests the lover of violence (Ps 11:5); With pestilence and bloodshed, I will bring judgment upon him, and I will pour down torrential rain, hailstones, fire and brimstone upon him and his troops and the many nations that are supporting him. (Ezk 38:22)
      The point is, you need to read your bible, there is more than the New Testament to it! Do not read only what pleases you, finally, my recommendation to you is to meditate on Matt 5:17!
