@@ryonic no he went airborne for some reason after nair. I think he CCed the nair and jumped and first frame airborne got hit by shine. The transition removed the light hitstun and he got the grab frame perfect too, which is why he slid so far. Really silly.
@@philo430 I think we are talking about the same thing here, going from air to ground after shine lets you grab out of it, and they way you get it is ASDI down
@@ryonic has nothing to do with asdi down, it's just gravity. If you set the controller down the same thing happens (though I suppose without the grab)

I still think that last set is probably the most perfect irony ever seen in Melee history. Net spends the entire set fishing for F smashes (with his left thumb likely spending more time over the dpad than the control stick) and at 10:43 he absolutely floundered his free opportunity to use his signature move to seal the win on probably the biggest stage he's ever played. It's been years and I'm sure he's gotten way more shit for this set than anyone should have to hear over a videogame but man, karma's a bitch ain't it.
