Well, let me tell you that the universal process in research is to go for reliability testing (cronbach alpha ), consistency analysis and content validity only for pilot testing. I hope this solves your Worry. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Sir I am only doing discriptive analysis with my data.I have over 48 variables and collected 122 responses.Due to time frame of my project i cannot more sample also its enough for my mean ranking.
I did cronbachs alpha test,rho_a,rho_c, and ave.
Its observed that my cronbachs alpha is above 0.85 for all variable however Ave for just one variable is 0.3.The other variables have good Ave above 0.5.
On deleting the variable i can make all of them to desired range however the variable in my eyes is important.
I saw a video saying that if the cronbachs alpha is extremely good and majority of the ave is high,that one particular variable can be averaged out and considered.
Sir is information valid.Since i am not going to perform CFA/EFA and considering my sample space can I average it out.

There is no difference in both these methods. It depends upon your understanding about the concept of validity. It is very easy to test the validity when we use smartpls software where in cfa we use Amos and it need manual calculations of AVE and MSV etc..
@@adilzia yep,u right. I'm still confused about it. Based research that i've read, when inside including cfa it was goodness of fit like rmsea,gfi,chi square, etc that should fulfilled. In other research without cfa validity, requirement of goodness of fit shouldn't fullfilled.
