▪ So,,, 26.3 miles,,, you'd think the grizzly can handle 40 miles, , ,? If it has two batteries and all, and if you just run OnE of the motors for most of the trip,,, should make it, right? 🟥
I ghost pedal too when passing, lol. If I'm on trails with others, I'm usually taking it slower and pedaling for real, but if no one is around, I'll kick on the cruise control and chill.
I have a Ariel rider N class , a previous Pedego and E Joe Amazingly I see the same results for range no matter what bike Temperature and conditions (dirt or pavement ) severely alter results. In level 2 on a bike path I’ll get close to 80 mi Dirt road and wind I’m lucky to see 20
Thanks for the video it was informative in helping me make a decision on which bike to buy. Just curious if you had it to do over again would you buy the 52v version or even another brand entirely? Just wondering again thanks for the video.
Matt Fiedler The spare Rize batteries are around $750, i don’t know if that’d be worth it considering you can get a whole other X-class for $1499. I was going to buy an extra Rize battery but I just got the Xclass instead!
E Bike Noob geez! I guess so lol. I know a spare battery through Ariel is like $500. Just not sure if I wanna bite the bullet. Tough call when the battery is like a third the price of just buy the whole bike.
@@mattfiedler278 ▪ I guess if it's 500 for a backup grizzly battery, then it's not AS bad maybe ... I can't find where to order backup batteries on their website though.. I need to talk to one of their reps person to person maybe . 🟥
Hi, what wattage is battery please? I just bought one of these, with a 21ah battery and a 250w motor, I only got 23 miles when riding pedal assist. I'm pretty sure battery is screwed as it was completely flat when I got it, obviously they usually ship with a bit in as storing dead causes damage. Anyway, I'd appreciate knowing motor power. Thanks 🙂
great vid, 26 miles is pretty good. I got a eahora and it does a little more with just throttle but it's lighter. Cant wait for my x class going to be a blast. Do you know can I use my 48v lithium battery from my eahora bikes on the x class?
Timo K the mileage will vary depending on conditions, I’m going to release another throttle only vid on this bike just so everyone can see how wind impacts mileage.
I say hi if someone is casually riding or a family riding together. Only time I don’t say hi if it’s a cyclist. Those guys are focused and on the go, don’t want to bother them lol. Question. Sorry if this already covered, but how is this bike when pedaling only, no pedal assist or anything? I read this bike is about 85 pounds, can you actually feel the weight when the battery dies?
How does this bike do in the rain ? what about temperatures under 20 or 30 ? Does anyone know ? I live in Chicago. I have a lot of good gear. I am a cyclist and ride about 15 miles a day commuting. I wanna get this bile and have researched many bikes.
I’ve been caught out in the rain a few times and haven’t had any issues. It did alright in some snow as well, depending on wet and icy the snow was. Cold temps weren’t much of an issue either. Do yourself a favor and get an X Class!
People need to know that yea, it is only 26 miles, but if you peddled just once in awhile you could easily get up to that 30 mile range. How often would someone get on and just ride the throttle for over an hour as fast as you can? I wouldn't think that would be a common bike ride for most people.
I definitely do not acknowledge existence. Just mind my own business as respectfully as possible. Where I live I am not comfortable riding on narrow public paved bike paths with my x52, I try to stay away from people and traffic. I don't want to pretend peddle.
how was your experience with them shipping it to you, meeting deadlines, etc. i recently ordered the x, and it's back ordered for oct 26 shipping. i had a bad experience with super73 delaying my early october backorder to december lmao so i cancelled that. any insight with your x shipping to ya would be appreciated, thanks!
@@halibuthero LOL im with you on that, and thanks for ur input. customer service got back to me within minutes of sending inquiries bout their shipping dates and they confirmed everything was on time nd good to go. nightmare's put to rest, ready to ride my sorrows away XD
Right near that waterfall is a unmarked grave of civil war soldiers lead by Winfield....found it on my BMX pedal bike last summer...super cool history over by the waterfall near that awesome downhill that is absolutely scary to ride down
It’s a Reention Dorado battery that’s used in a lot of other electric bikes. My spare battery is actually just the battery from my Rize X fat tire ebike.
@@ebikenoob4463 I've got a Rize Blade 48 V 20 ah... I want to buy the Ariel 52 V... is the Rize 48 V 20 ah battery compatible with the 52 V version? Would be great if that is possible. Thanks for the distance information! I'm about to buy this bike... if the batteries are compatible it's a click.
Juiced Scorpion goes only 21-22 mph on throttle. X-Class goes 33 mph on throttle. Even hyperscorpion reach 28 mph on pedal assist only. Ariel Rider will eat Scorpion alive.
From what I've seen, both the Scorpion/Hyper Scorpion have settings that enable faster speeds, 28mph/33mph respectfully. Though the Ariel X is definitely cheaper to buy! = D
“Rize” battery. One of my other Ebikes is made by a company called “Rize”. The batteries are interchangeable but the Rize’s has a higher capacity (19.2ah)
26.3 mi. Would you say that's disappointing? I've never ridden other ebikes so I can't compare. I was hoping to see at least 30 mi lol. What's your weight btw?
20:20 if you want to get straight to it.

Bro, THANK YOU! I couldn’t find any videos with throttle only but you came in and saved me, you deserve a sub.
Sparkly Peppr thanks for the nice words! Stay tuned, I’m working on another throttle-only range test!
E Bike Noob thanks, I’m a bit curious though about how the bike does on a steep uphill motor-only? I live in a very hilly area.
Thinking of getting one. I just wanted to make sure it was fast and reliable. So thanks :)
Thank you for the information. Well Done!

Nice! Now I want one!
Dude thank you

Great content E bike. Good info to know, thanks for sharing.

Lol mine would b here 10+ day 70day waiting
Haha well said! Did they give you any kind of refund for the delay? Total bummer you’ve had to wait so long 😥
Ordered mine in early august and got it today, totally worth the wait, I was able to go 30 mph, so much fun
U get it yet?
Thanks really appreciated it
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
i love the paths there, where is this? what state?
This is the Illinois Prairie Path and the Fox River Trail in Illinois. We have excellent bike trails here! 👍
48V 16ah 750w. Or 52v 19.2ah 1000w?
Thanks this is the best vid ever for an electric moped. Im getting this one. its the shittaki

Definitely say hello to passersby, people who don't are usually a holes
Are the batteries heavy? Does it make sense to carry another one in a backpack?
Do you have the Ariel Rider's speed unlocked or is this default speed? which i think is 20mph.. let me know, thanks! :D
do u think that the 52vt with the 1000 motor would be ok to pedal the bike

Class 2

How fast you were going..
From what it shows 18-24mph also take into account his weight plus hills he was driving by
Haha, highway pegs on a mini bike.
26.3 mi. Would you say that's disappointing? I've never ridden other ebikes so I can't compare. I was hoping to see at least 30 mi lol. What's your weight btw?
He say’s his weight in the beginning ^.^
160+ 20lb tools
I wouldn’t say disappointing… Yea it’d be awesome to get over 30 miles but its definitely possible in the right conditions.
I’m getting less range at 25 mile throttle only and I’m 220. I need 2 battery!!!!!
Great vid and chatting most the way can't stand it when guys ride and say nothing
Thanks for tuning in watching! 👍

Get a big boy bike 🤣
Can’t see. To dark. Hope you can see better than what you are showing…
