Beautiful garden and pond. The koi are amazing, the second showa was a proper beast! The Shiro Utsuri is so well in balance pattern wise. Amazing. Looks good without the pergola.
Credit to you Paul those tree's are looking good , having tree's myself i know the time and care they need and take . Gardena and koi look great buddy great video Tim!!
@@glennmartin9999 Not going to attempt to excuse EA’s response but far less to go wrong with a Nexus! Interesting that the Drum has needed spares already, hadn’t expected that as yet! All good while they are still in business, but as we all know the next big innovation is always just around the corner which generally brings casualties!
I like the pond with and without the pergola but my concern is sunburn and herons causing damage. The drum looks like a 45/40 same as mine, excellent piece of engineering 👏🏼👌🏼
Very beautiful pond! I like all the bonsai & Japanese plants. Paul’s fish are very big & healthy too! No wonder Paul’s forgetting things his fish are on his mind! How long has he had the pond? Very thoughtfully planned & displayed out. Get your sunglasses 😎 out Tim!
Hi Tim great video and Paul has an amazing collection, I do enjoy the banter on your videos and your honest views. Can I ask what are yours and Paul’s views on the clarity protein skimmer is it a worthwhile investment showing great results. I have an eazypod on my pond and looking at a protein skimmer to remove DOC to improve clarity, I am a little sceptical because they appear to be expensive initially and see a lot of secondhand ones available. I would appreciate your honest views! Keep up the great videos👏🏼
hello, i'd like to get your opinion... i've watched countless pond building videos and i've come to the conclusion that aquascape type ponds are inadequate to properly house koi. they are too shallow (offering little protection from the elements and predators), and provide poor to minimum water filtration. what is your take? i'll understand if you decide to bite your tongue since you know the "pond guy."
I dont have much experience with the AS Ponds to be honest, we have never built one. However when I’ve been in the states I have seen some beautiful examples. We don’t typically have the space houses in America do, and they enjoy the gardens much more than we do and get better weather. We are lucky to have 4 BBQ’s a year! That’s why our ponds are more formal.
@@TimWaddington thank you! i greatly appreciate your thoughts and feedback and while i agree with you that they are beautiful water features, i personally would never use one to keep koi.
@@TimWaddington Even harder to understand, I’ve got a couple considerably older that will live out their days with me, (or see me out!) wouldn’t consider anything else after the joy they’ve given! Would you do that with your dog or your kid? None of them are a commodity! I guess some of us just live our lives to a different set of values!
And she will live the rest of her life in Paul’s pond. Do you think he would just kill the Koi or something? We just have an idea she won’t have long left.
Wow Paul's stock of koi are awesome 👌
Hi Tim & Paul, amazing Koi the colours are so rich unreal pride and joy:) thanks for the revisit
I love the way the owner allows us to get a closer look of each beautiful fish.
Beautiful, spotless garden. A proper labour of love.

Amazing koi and Bonsai Tim, Hats off to Paul like without pergola 👍 Thought the tea house would be full of overstocked Nexus 🤭
@@glennmartin9999 I hope you remember that when all the mechanical and electric parts start to fail and the manufacturer is no longer in business 😊

25 years he’s had it, ish
Great video once again, got a question for everyone could you put k1+ media in a eazy pod or would not benifit it anymore then the normal k1
Tim have you ever done a video on your own personal pound ?
How come Paul buys so many nexuses and got a drum on his pond 😂😂😂
@@glennmartin9999 not strictly true as some of us only have a drum because we have busy lifestyles
It was because a nexus wouldn’t fit in the gap with out destroying every thing
Absolutely stunning koi and bonsai, excellent video Tim. What koi food is Paul feeding
that looks like one big ass pond.
Incredible looking koi and much better without the pergola. When are we going to see yours Tim?
Tim doesn't have a pond at his home as he has enough of them in the shop 👍🏼

Paul loves his but I think they may have stopped making them.
Im just starting out in the world of Koi, im quite limited on space and wondering if a Clarity is worth getting?
hi tim is it cheaper to run a gas boiler or heat pump thanks
I would say Heat Pump
Sulphur oxide to make it white.

It's time to look at some weeds then
He has my “sushi roll” Showa ❣️😍 How can I get one??
Get rid of a fish that’s been owned for years so it can be replaced with “this months” new favourite?
To me, that’s NOT Koi keeping!
He’s had the Koi for 20 plus years. She’s coming to the end of her life. That’s Koi Keeping.
