I have a question. I am not trying to sound like a hater at all but as a trumpet player, I don’t get the point of woodwind screamers. Is it hard or impressive or is it just to add some more sound to the top of the chord?
It’s not the hardest thing to do, but it keep it in tune and not go into another overtone is little hard. But it’s definitely WAYYY harder for brass to do it. And it just sounds cool
Well, sometimes we get bored lol. And yes, those higher notes are typically harder to manage with good tone and tuning, so there is some challenge to it. Plus, it's just fun to see how stupidly one can manage to play a song while sounding good 😂
FINALLY A FULL HEBRON TENOR CAN IM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW

nobody posted a trumpet cam so far, I'm scared.
Yes they did
Aren’t the G’s that occur immediately after the E’s an octave lower before they jump the octave again?
Yeah I noticed that too lol, you can even see the octave key going between the two G’s
Oh I didn't notice that. I thought there was a bari sax close to him and thought those notes were the bari sax playing 😅.
Oh no I saw out of step :( my band does alot of that
are the screamer notes added on or written in yalls parts
each school is different but for most the notes are added in
At hebron saxes don’t have the screamer notes written in, they just take it up 1-2 octaves.
so quick
How’d your band do at state?
