Thanks for the review guys ! Went through a lot of bikes and decided to get me this one ( in yellow ). Has been delivered yesterday and I absolutely love it !
Most comfortable bike I have ever rode..bought 2 one for my wife and I we are both in our 60s and can go out all day on them and not even come close to draining the battery..definitely would recommend this bike for the older rider
Nice Review I am a senior considering a pair of low step electric bikes that my wife and I can enjoy. A few questions; 1) Is this Verve +1 Lowstep a 2024 model? When does the 2025 model year come out, and what changes do you anticipate in the 2025 model? 2) What are the major benefits of the Verve +2, +3, +4, or +5? Do you like the Bosch mid bike motor system better? Have you ridden the other Verve+ bikes, and how do they compare? How do you, as an experienced e-bike rider and dealer, value the the incremental price increase of those bikes? 3) I am seeing a lot more information on E-Bikes with a Gates Belt Drive and the Enviolo hub, or a Rohloff hub. These hub shifters also have the option of electronic shifting system. Do you feel this is where the electric bike industry is heading, & how do you like those technologically advanced upgrades which seem to enhance the wonderful bike riding experience.
We would recommend finding one at a local trek dealer and going for a test ride. However, as a dedicated commuter you may find there are other options that could be more suitable for carrying more gear with you.

That's awesome. Definitely a fun bike to ride, glad to hear you're liking it!
Great review. This is an awesome option for those who are not really into biking but would enjoy an easy to use powered assisted ride, aka wife.

does it have a throttle or do you always have to pedal to engage the motor?
As far as we know there is not a throttle (Class 2) option.
Can yo take the battery out to charge or store in cold weather?
Not with ease. It is well tucked away in the downtube of the frame.
$2,000 for a low mile per battery bike. No thanks.
Seems like the Velotric T1ST has this bicycle beat hands down at half the price.
Would you recommend driving one of these everyday to work about 8 miles one way over some decent hills?
