I did this over 10 years ago with my recreational skates. Took the wheels out and learnt stalls and grinds. Then when you get proper skates it is amazing when you actually learn grinds. Back then noone ever understood until they actually tried it and then they saw how cool it was. Except skateboarders always thought that it was easy because its strapped to your feet. Thank you for showing rollerblading on the channel, its still so weird for me to see skaters realizing how hard rollerblading actually is.

I use Zetrablades now and they are amazing, they fall under the category of rec skates but are actually women’s professional athletic rated, and I feel better in them, they are more than just a rec skate, they are built like one, but they are awesome.

So glad I found this channel. It’s the reason I went out and bought a skateboard 3 days ago. I’m 21 and always wanted to skate, but was too involved in baseball growing up that I didn’t wanna hurt myself off the field...well things have changed and everyone has to start somewhere. Thank you for pushing people to start skateboarding. I’ve been riding for the last few days and already feel comfortable pushing and cruising. I never thought I’d be doing this but my god it feels so good to do something you thought was never gonna happen. To everyone at Braille, thank you. I’ve only been watching for a few weeks, but you’ve already had a big impact on me 👍🏼❤️

This is what skating is all about. Respecting each other and their sport. As a rollerblader I have gotten plenty of crap from skateboarders in the past (only some of course, a lot of them are cool). It’s so awesome that you guys are showing how sick rollerblading can be and how it’s a lot harder than it looks. I skateboarded and rollerbladed for many years and I have respect for both since I have done both. Unfortunately there are still people out there that only remember all the negativity that Thrasher Magazine spread about us and never gave blading a chance to be “cool”. Boarding is cool, blading is cool, BMX is cool, Scooters are cool. As long as we all have fun and respect each other that’s what extreme sports should be about. Not hating on people for the sport they like the most. When bladers are at a skatepark and a boarder or bmx’er laces something we all clap to show respect cause that’s what it’s about. Thanks Braille for being open and showing the community how it should be. You guys are all awesome 🤟

Hey Braille skating, Im a 15 year old I roller blade. I just want to say, the sky is the limits with blading, you actually can do anything anyone else does. Except with having like 4 wheels on a skate board, or 2 wheels on a bike. You have 8 tiny wheels and can do absolutely any trick you out your mind to. It is absolutely fun and I definitely recommend it. I've been skating for 13 years do when I first got on skates I was 2 so I'm use to roller blading and doing all of this stuff, but for beginners, it will be really hard at times. When your knees are cut from falling, take a brake and go back tomorrow. You will definitely catch on. (I'm saying this to about everyone that is thinking of roller blading)

Agree with Nigel, blading does not get the respect it deserves.
We generally put bladers around scooters but they are way above scooters.
You don’t need any skill to do some tricks on a scooter, you need skill to get speed on blades, let alone doing tricks

Great vid! Always awesome to see bladers get love here. It' would be amazing if you did a street session with B-Free and his friends. Then you'll see just how sick these guys are! Or take them to woodward or some other gigantic skatepark if Street skating isn't feasible. Keep up the work!

I haven't skate in more than 14 years, this video made me go buy some new skates and start learning all over again. Thank you very much for reminding me how awesome it feels to use them.
