You will be like me and have this on reply. Love your reaction!
I enjoyed your reaction to this. I don't watch the view but I'm surprised he doesn't do any of his songs on there.
The person singing that high pitch part and harmonies is Denvon Dawson, he is one of the song writers of God's Country. He does an acoustic version of this song. Check it out.
Oh my gosh, I love your reaction, Blake makes people want to move to the country.
Check out the Charlie Daniels band “Devil Went Down to Georgia” and see what he is referencing.. it’s a great song!
The background singer is one of his early contestants from the voice. Dude has a ton of great songs, Go down that rabbit hole you won't be disappointed . And yes I live in GOD'S country.
Which contestant? 🤗
@@rajnafilipovic3137 I always forget her name . but it is the blonde

“The devil went down to Georgia, but he didn’t stick around….this is GOD’S country” ……Giving homage to “The devil went down to Georgia” by the Charlie Daniels Band.
I was going to say the same thing, but I figured someone already did. 😉
truth
I grew up as a project kid and only heard one type of music. But once I hit about 35 I was introduced to country....now at 50 only good music that stands the test of time make my playlist. At a party old funk, country, rock and RnB all sounds like a great night...a blend of culture has been the path
Go way back and do his song,"Ol' Red".
do ol' red its amazing story telling
YESSSSS!!! OL' RED FOR SURE!! THE VIDEO is BEST!!
Austin is great
I wonder if those poor old farmers trying to make a living or even stay alive in the dust bowl during the great depression ever heard of global warming
Trace Adkins and Blake Shelton - Hillbilly Bone. Trace is one of the only guys in Country Music that Blake has to literally look up to LOL.
Ol' Blake's been at this a minnit now, his catalog is deep and fine.
"Sure Be Cool If You Did" is a fav...
I use to think reaction channels were useless but now I have realized through listening and respecting different music it can bring us together...even if just a little.

You can't go wrong
EVERY song he does is pure gold.
Lol he said "the devil went down to Georgia" not to join you. He was referencing a Charlie Daniels song with that title.
Thank you I was going to say it
You've got to react to "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" by Charlie Daniel's Band
Blake's been doing this for decades, but one of his best will always be his break out song "Ol' Red". It's one of the best love songs ever written, and onle of the best prison songs too. You won't be disappointed.
Suggestion, check out one of Blake's party songs, "Boys Round Here" or "Hell Right".
Welcome to the world of Blake Shelton. Austin, Ole Red, and The Baby are a MUST listen. Oldies - but his very best. Please do these in the original official videos! Love you :)
There is a country song called "Devil Went Down To Georgia" by Charlie Daniels Band. It's literally one of the most classic country songs.
Aaron Lewis “country boy” 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Huge hit for Blake! Yea! The voice
If you like that you gotta do “ol Red”
I am glad you enjoyed it and I hope you will check out more, he has LOTS of great songs.
That harmony is from his fiddle player, Jenae Fleenor I believe is how you spell it. She recently won an award for her musical abilities! ❤️
The words are the Devil went done to Georgia but your version of the devil joined you but didn’t stick around would fit the song as well... love your reactions ...aka Georgia Gurl lol
Country Music is beautiful because it’s REAL! No tricks, no glitze...and you must be able to SING!
The Boys Round Here is one of my favorites! Ole Red is also great!
You've got so many wonderful songs to listen to. Home, Ole Red, Somebeach Some where, The Baby will make you cry, etc ❤️👍

Devin Dawson is the person singing in the background. Blake is #1 in my book... Love him and all his music

Blake and Eric Church have the finest female background vocalist, powerhouses!

Loved this!!!!!
Not really a Blake fan but boy do I love the sound of this song.
He said "the devil went down to Georgia but he didn't stick around". That was a nod to Devil went down to Georgia-Charlie Daniel's Band.

Big and Rich: That's Why We Pray...guaranteed to like it, i promise
He is actually referencing a Charlie Daniel's song called The Devil Went Down To Georgia
The guy in the background you asked about is Devin Dawson. He wrote this song and recorded it as well. It's worth a listen.
Devil went to Georgia which is reference to Charlie Daniel Band song.
I know this is an older video but I looked through the comments and didn't see any that told you who that was doing that yeah...someone down there said it was Janee Fleenor, and she does harmonies in the chorus and that was her at the end you liked. But the man's voice you hear early on in the prechorus is Devin Dawson and he's one of the writers of this song. When he does this song live Devin part is played and his backup singer Kara does the harmonies with him.
The Oak Ridge Boys song “The Baptism Of Jesse Taylor”.
Yes. He has a backup band.
“I expect a got damn apology” = like because of humor

He was actually saying the Devil went down to Georgia but he didn't stick around . referencing The Charlie Daniels band, their song Devil went down to Georgia. Must listen to song!!!!!
Blake has always been loyal to his contestants from his teams on the Voice. If they were talented and he really like their music he would help them get started in the business , a lot of times he will use them in his music or give them the stage at his concerts so they can be heard.
Ol' Red is a good one too!
You gotta, really gotta check out Old Red by him. AMAZING!!!!
Really good reaction
Rock...? Sabbath. Zeplellen. Pink Floyd. The Doors. Deep Purple.....many, many more. Grew up listening to these bands.

The dust bowl part of the video affected the western third of Kansas, southeastern Colorado, the Oklahoma, the northern two-thirds of the Texas Panhandle, and northeastern New Mexico. Those that think they can sell their soul sorry that belongs to God.
