Vera has such a brutality about him. That dude is truly vicious. Maximum impact.
When Vera goes for the finish, it always looks nasty. Makes for such entertaining fights.
Its weird how some fighters have that “damaging” ability. While some can sleep you with ease with their hands, others need to kick/knee/elbow the sh*t out of you, and Chito is one of those. His opponents tend to end up with their face all messed up, and when they tap they do it quick because they want the punishment to end.

Chito is one of those fighters that is not elite anywhere but he is so well rounded and with an iron chin and never-quit-attitude. He can be a problem for everyone in 5 round fights.
In Chito's current run he's doing what Diaz always wished he could do. He's actually the guy who gets beat up early and comes back later to land bigger shots to get the win.

The difference between him and and a lot of other all-rounders is that Chito is a legitimate finisher in every area. A lot of guys can give you problems in multiple situations, Chito can kill your ass in pretty much any position if you aren't careful.

Thing I love about chito is how calm he is threw out every situation in the cage
It is easy to forget how good Chito's MMA grappling is given his many memorable finishes with his strikes. He has aged well in the sport and seems to be evolving into quite possibly his best form ever. I can see him fighting at the top level for a long time.
1:21 is the counter to the matt hughes - gsp submission. I would have never thought i would see it in the ufc but here it is

Chito and his army of clones are vicious. Can't believe they put Suga in there lol. Gotta respect Chito for never rly adding additional damage to a opponent that is done, even though the ref didn't pull him off yet. He is dangerous everywhere. Those digs to the liver hurt just watching them. Cruz got his hands full. Should be a great fight if Cruz looks as good as he did against Munoz at times.

That quick front kick is so nasty. Doesn't leave you open or exposed or off balance. It's only flaw is if the opponent kicks the other leg at the exact same time, but that's tough to happen since the leg kicks are eat less lethal and take more time so the timing is tough and no one would rather kick someone in the leg and get kicked in the face. So tricky

I remember thinking the O’Malley finish was weird, not that it was an illegitimate win, but I thought the injury put an asterisk beside it.
After doing some research, there’s a history (longer than I thought) of fighters catching a kick in the right spot and their legs start giving out. Chito planted a kick in the right spot and took advantage. Sean O’Malley is Sean 1’Malley.
