So much Einaudi from me these days :)
Ok so i wonder why i didn´t play this piece earlier. Afterall it´s one of Einaudi´s most popular ones.
The intro made most problems somehow. Took me a while to get through it smoothly.
I am pretty happy with this take, even though there are two tiny slip ups around the end. Resulting from that thought in my head: "No mistakes until here, i´m almost at the end. Don´t mess up now, Alex" Then: A mess up xD
    It´s always like that :)
Again i have no idea if it´s played too fast or too slow compared to Einaudi´s recording, but somehow with his pieces i don´t think it matters much. It may sound cheesy, but as long as you play from your heart, it should be fine. At least that´s my opinion.
    Enough babbling xD
    Please enjoy,
    ~Alex

The first time ive listened to Ludovicos work! I had watched the concert at the royal Albert hall on UA-cam and I must say that there is no comparison. The use of tempo and dynamics in this version was top class! I'm 13 and am picking options for GCSE this year. You have therefore inspired me to take music. I have a piano but am terrible. I would love to be able to exceed my own expectations in the art of music and journey further into the subject. Your piece makes me want to play it for hours. I really hope that I can play this piece one day as it has brought out many of my emotions. Please Alex, please keep this up and good luck in the future! ☺

I like playing Einaudi's songs very much and during my practice I add like some left pedal here, a bit of Diminuendo and a touch of Lentando there. Or maybe go crazy and play it all in Fortissimo :D

Wow. that was beautifully played, thank you so much for uploading, I am sure you have helped to inspire many others to learn to play this. I have learnt Le Onde, and Primavera so far, my piano teacher was not initially impressed with Einaudi but I persisted in getting him to help me with Primavera and one day he changed totally and wanted me to play it in our student concerts that we have so I did and everyone loved it and wanted to know about the piece of music, as is often the case people when they hear Einaudi people think "I've heard this somewhere before" because often you have, his music is used frequently in many ways. I am now learning Ombre and once that's ready for the next student concert I will try Divenire, no doubt I will watch your video many times to try and learn from you as it is going to be difficult for me but clearly worth the effort. Once again thank you!

Phil O'Connor I´m sorry for the late reply! Thank you for sharing your story :) Yeah i know, Einaudi isn´t very popular amongst piano teachers because his music is mostly considered repetetive, thus "not worthy of being taught" unlike classical music. It´s funny though because as you experienced, his "repetetive" music was the hit at the student concert :) So well done on changing your teachers mind and making people happy by playing it for them :) I´m sure Ombre will be a success as well. I´m glad i can help out with my videos :)

This is an amazing cover of this song! It's nice to see some passionate yet controlled tempo control, it really brings out the emotion of the song and personally showcases a musicians ability much more profoundly then playing it unnecessarily fast. Hope to play as well as you one day:)

One final comment, Alex: By the way, your English is superb - better than many native speakers! Have you ever thought of investing in an iPad for reading your sheets? I made the change last March and have never looked back. I use iGigBook with forScore as a backup. I have around 5500 song/pieces in both apps. I also use the wonderful Airturn pedals for turning the pages. I noticed you had all your music spread out, but with 10 pages, it's impossible to balance them all on the piano!
If you haven't an iPad already....WAIT! Apple are on the verge of bringing out a bigger version, about A4 size - just like sheet music size! So that would be the one to go for, if you can afford it. But get a 64GB version - you'll need lots of memory.
