Just wanted to thank you for your detailed review. As part of a 60+ husband & wife I was sure putting this gazebo up was going to end our 41 year marriage… but because we followed your instructions to the letter it’s up and looking good and above all your description of how sturdy it is was spot on … so thank you once again.

This is a superb gazebo, exactly what im looking for as I'm a joiner and build summerhouses mostly in peoples gardens and I hate when the rain comes on and drenches my tools etc. This could be a quick and easy solution! Thanks for doing the review mate, this has really helped me to make my choice.

With just weights on the legs, you're putting more horizontal stress on the legs than if you have it properly tensioned with guy ropes. Taught guy ropes relieve the legs of any side-to-side stress, preventing strain (damage) to the poles.

Good point. Didn't know that but often guy ropes will be a hazard so really isn't an option for site work

We've just bought one of these and also researched the weights to go with them. We saw the ones you got, but as experience has shown us, the water ones and the gravel ones just don't cut it! If you go to any market and look at their stalls, they have the flat metal plates that weigh in at 13.5kg, sometimes 2 per leg...
Yes, they are a whole lot more expensive, but the Gazebos aren't cheap themselves, and are worth keeping for a few years.

I really appreciated your video - it was good to see an actual person and not a 'sponsored' review. I bought an OutSunny gazebo in a bit of a panic as I started selling at craft shows last year, and it did not stand up well to the winds in December, so I've been looking for a more robust gazebo and your review helped me 'push the button' on this purchase. I looked at the Rhino Expedition ones on Rock Awnings (similar price) but the fabric didn't look as robust and you mentioned how impressed you were with the quality of the fabric. Has the Gazebo stood up to frequent use and windy conditions? My needs are 'easy to assemble', 'portable' (It has to fit into a Ford Focus lol), 'velcro seals on the side panels' (trust me, it's cold as hell when the side panels have gaps in them and it's windy and rainy), 'moderately waterproof' - I don't expect it to stand up to a monsoon but a bit of afternoon drizzle at a craft fair is par for the course so it should be able to cope), and 'isn't going to buckle at the slightest provocation' - my poor little Outsunny one got very battered at the xmas fair and I am retiring it to summer garden shade duty already.

Exactly my thinking, but for a camping setup. It doesn't have to be extended for a person to set up chairs and enjoy the show in a storm. As for the walls not fitting, why not fold the excess and make sort of a double wall.
All these pop-up shelters have 3 heights, relatively close together. I'd like more height options for the given conditions.
