- I travel to Barboursville West Virginia to visit Billy Bob's Pizza Wonderland and the Rock-afire Explosion perform some of their greatest hits. Then I jump back on the road and head to Iron Blast Game Zone in Washington, PA to play some vintage coin op and pinball machines, it was a fun day!

Also about spare Beach bear sitting outside the showroom is one they were going to auction off but since they made the starting bid $11,000, it never sold.
One from BBW was recently on eBay
It sold for $9,600

Awesome!! They are a lot better now. I actually went here to see the Rock-afire explosion for the first time since being in the fandom for almost a decade! They’re very cool in person and I’m glad I experienced! I was there for the convention and stayed there for a week

Fun fact for those that don't know: the Animatronics at this location came from long closed location of the same restaurant in Ashland , KY

Aww man great to see the Rock-a-fire animatronics receieveding some MUCH NEEDED restoration and maintentnce. The last time I saw them in a vid they were so decrepid it was sad.

Looking MUUUCH better, but they gotta change those awful masks. Beach Bear's bootleg guitar and Fatz's messed up organ front are kind of annoying me too, but let's be optimistic: at least they're not in that depressing condition anymore. Great!
The sad thing is that the show is only in good mechanical shape, the physical condition is pretty bad tho, a lot of the character's mechs are wallowed out from 20 years of disrepair. (Obviously I'm not applying with the characters are 20 years old, I'm just saying that around 20 years ago is when they stop being cared for.)
@@showbizgreensboro8956 yeah, there's a lot more issues to point out besides the ones I did. I just wanted to keep the comment short. To be honest, I find having the show as a perfectly looking museum piece better than having it working but looking bad. But you know, it's the last public place with a Rock-afire Explosion and it's a business, so having them working is probably their current priority.
Yeah the masks definitely need to be replaced with better once's. And at some point they should consider making the showroom should be separate from the rest of the arcade so they can have the lights off for a show just like showbiz was!

I see Billy bobs and looney birds stage curtains aren't working. Unless they are now. Prior from when you had went Billy Bob's Wonderland.

I went here recently, it looked like billy bob was squinting. I wish that they kept up with them more often, considering they wait like 1 year THEN redo it. Still glad I got to see it.
Actually there are 2 public locations with the Rock Afire. The other is a mini-golf and arcade in Alberta Canada
the one in canada is long disactivated, but now theres a new one in switzerland
Actually the one in Canada bought them from the Fun Station arcade on Long Island NY in 2008 and just repaired them and got them working earlier this year
Everything is actually fixed and working smoothly except for the drums which have a timing issue.

AKA Bubbles... are HUGE fans of yours!!!! hes been through alot in his short little life and i would love to take him to a billy bob/showbiz place...he LOVES animatronics!! We live in Iowa...are there any places with a billy bob in the midwest we could go visit that you know of??
hi um the only one not closed is the one in wv barbersville i may have not that right by the way
the drive will be 11-12 hours though i drive about 13 hours to get to the beach so you could make it if you get up at 5am or 7am
