Hi Dan, just put mine in, like others, the right hand side was more fiddly, but look great when on, my bulbs were similar and cost £10 from Amazon. Thanks.
Hi have you done a video of how to replace the rear inner light cluster on the boot lid (reverse light )as mine has just been hit and broken, many thanks.
Like the cool white light better than that pretty much useless older bulb. I did a similar swap with the reverse lights on my 65 reg Fiesta. We live out in the country and have no street lights, so the change over made a huge difference in being able to see where and what I was reversing toward. Did you say you have done the break lights already, or are going to? PS: Those bulbs for the sun visor lights have not been fitted. The fuse has been fixed and I now have the interior lights and dash cam working again. That's enough for now, may try again on a later date. By the way, my local Nissan dealer did the job for free. I am much liking my change to Nissan.
@@TheQashqaiGuy Nice, money saver right there. How do you find all these things to do with your car Dan? I have to ask...How the actual heck do you get that back panel off??? I've had a go three times now and I can get four studs to release (cringing that I might actually snap something as I pull) and of course the top bit where it's by the rear windscreen I have nothing to lever against. Can you do a video on this? UPDATE: did it in the end. Brute force and ignorance won the day. Had to use builder's gloves in order to apply the right force without shredding my fingers. Had to replace four broken clips. Replacing the bulbs was easy.
Hi Dan, for the reverse light. did you have a hard time putting it in? i’ve watched several videos and they purchased the led bulbs which is a little bit bigger than the original bulb and they need to remove another back part where the plate light is located to get fully access. did you get the exact size or smaller than the original bulb? thanks
Looking at a lot of your videos in qashqaies very helpful thanks. I've just got one last week and I'm having trouble with the mirrors one will fold in using the switch on the right hand side of the dash, but the other doesn't move and I'm not sure if the key remote is supposed to fold them in Anyway thanks again for your great work. 👍
Dan, I did this mod today, and you make it look relatively easy, it's not, even with the tools. Okay, so you are tall enough to not have any trouble when the tailgate is fully open. I had to keep mine held down enough to get my hands into the gaps, and just like the indicator bulb change you did, the right reverse bulb was awkward for me. Also, can I ask, how did you get your reversing lights to stay on? So that you could look at/video them from the back, with the ignition on? I had to get my bench out, put my camera on it, set to video, and then slot it into reverse and record it to see if they worked. I can hear the beeps from the sensors on your vid, but how come you were not run over? Also, I broke two of the white fittings putting the panel back in place. The result looks good in daylight, gonna check it out later in the dark. Another great mod, thanks Dan. PS: You will have noticed my comments are not short, I have a lot to say I guess.
Hi bud, yeah I guess height helps! To have them on show I put the car in reverse with just ignition on, not engine running. That pry tool kit with the clips could be a good purchase for you then!
@@TheQashqaiGuy Yes, a good buy for more jobs later, maybe. How do you just put the ignition on... your's is push button start too right. I'm not sure... actually, I have no idea how you'd do that. I'm thinking about the mirror indicator mod next.
@@TheQashqaiGuy Okay, and will this enable the electric windows and radio without starting the car? Then, does it (the ignition) go off on its own? Or is this just the stop gap to get out and see the lights, so to speak, then you have to start the car to shut it off? By the way. Just checked the lights in the pitch dark, and damn, they are very bright. The indicators are, in the dark, I think too bright, blinding. The reversing lights don't matter really (at least in my mind) as they are rarely used with anyone behind at night. Cheers for your comments and help.
Yeah electrics will work on ignition. You have to turn it off by pressing again without clutch. They are very bright, I'm considering dimming the indicators a little with masking tape lol
Hi, Put these bulbs in and my garage are saying that these bulbs caused the fuse to blow causing the gearbox fuse to blow creating a gearbox fault. Does this sound possible to you. 2017 auto 1.2

Hey man, great job! I like your videos!
I have a question do you know is it possible to replace j11 tail lights to j11b restyling ones?
Cheers!
I think it is possible but may require a slight rewiring

The brake bulbs are already LED's.

Hi I have a nissan qashqai acenta 1.5 2008 would led reverse work on mine? and could you point the right ones to choose please Thanks
Thanks for your video, I was wondering how to remove the reverse cluster and this told me , well worth a sub ,thanks .
Excellent
Any thoughts on putting a fog light on the other side, as the holder is there but no wires or plug??
Twin fog lights at rear??
It's deffo something I'll look into. Might be hard work though
@@TheQashqaiGuy all the Chinese sites have the sockets with fly leads, surely it's just a case of tapping into to original wiring??
Yeah, the issue isn't the wiring, it's removing the cap from the none used side.

🤣 brilliant.
The clips are easily replaced if they snap. Halfords sell them as do Amazon.

You'd probably be best taking a feed from the stereo

Search for the same style bulb and see what's available
Hello qashqai guy! My qashqai headlight bulb is yellowish. Can you recommend me a cool white headlight H11 bulb with very bright light? Thank you
I'd recommend a decent brand like Philips or Osram. Just make sure they are road legal.

Sounds like a dodgy mirror fold motor. Does it make any sound?
@@TheQashqaiGuy no no sound but aren’t they supposed to work with the remote??
I'm not sure as mine doesn't have them as factory fit. It's either on unlock or when you start the car.
