I have listened to the album Stoosh many times over the years and remember an incident in late 90's Glasgow. Blaring the chorus of 'yes its fkn political' out of my open windows as a way to distract a group of grown drunk male orange marchers from chasing a small boy who had dared to throw something at their bus as some were staggering onboard..did the trick! I wanted to shout stop and a few more choice words but was afraid, so the loud music and lyrics of this tune aimed at full volume from my second floor windows worked really well. They were shouting, playing drums and whistles but Skunk anansie's tune and lyrics overpowered them from on high. A surreal moment indeed. x

the intro sounds like she is singing, and it sounds like the first line of hedonism
"I'm the winna..."
