How old are the redwood trees in Rotorua?
New Zealand Redwoods Forest - New Zealand Trails
The redwood grove in Rotorua was planted back in 1901 with the aim of using the timber for building purposes. The largest redwood in Whakarewarewa is 72m tall and 169cm in diameter. If you think that's big, redwoods in California have been known to grow to a height of 110m and live for over 600 years.
what a shame you cant fact check

Unfortunately you're talking about the wrong forest. The forest the ziplines are built in are in a specific reserve that has been dated at over 1000 years old with no human interference like logging or building. Thanks for checking our fact checking and we've rechecked your fact checking and can see where your mistake is. Keep watching and we thank you for your views and comments.
