If you want to receive the gift of God into your heart today there's only one thing you must accept and that is you are a sinner before God and you can receive Him into your heart today by praying a simple prayer just as you'd talk to a friend.
Prayer:
Lord I know that I am a sinner Lord please forgive me of my sins. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth to die for my sins. I believe you are the Son of God who died and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and shedding your blood Lord on the cross of Calvary and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus save me for time and for eternity put your Holy Spirit upon me to guard and guide me and be my Lord and Saviour in Jesus Name Amen.
If you just prayed that prayer and really meant it this is what the Lord Jesus Christ has promised to all who trust in Him.

Ivan was used by God over the years to bring many, many souls to Christ. His preaching brought Holy Ghost conviction. He had the common touch and related to the ordinary man and woman in the street. My wife was one of several saved under his ministry back in 1994 during a Gospel mission at our church. He took another Mission for us four or five years later, he wasn't well at the time but the Lord still used him mightily. He was promoted to Glory the following Spring. I was at his funeral. Heavens gain was our loss there's no doubt. Only eternity will reveal what impact his Gospel preaching had across this Province and beyond.

I cannot believe I am seeing this amazing man again. I grew up in this church and Ivan was the best preacher I have ever heard personally. I have been a backslider a lot of my life but this mans preaching that I could remember as I was a child, always rang in my head and called me back. Lord Bless his memory and the work this church has done and continues to in Jesus Previous Name, Amen
