The Perl Flexi is my favorite adjustable razor so far. The Flexi is very smooth and very efficient. I love the weight of it as well. It's a great razor !
I bought the LEA shaving stick literally days ago when visiting the beautiful island of Tenerife. It cost just over a Euro and is an excellent product and a great addition to my mainly Brazilian shaving soap collection here in Rio de Janeiro.
With my Gillette Adjustables for many years I’ve been doing the dial down method @ 7-5-3 but the other day I tried 9-6-4 and 5-5-5 and 9-3-3 and getting great results. Fun to change it up sometimes
With my adjustable razors, and also the razors that have different base plates to adjust the efficiency (Rockwell 6S for example) I find starting on low and going to the higher settings for the later passes works excellent for me. I figure that on the later passes, the hair is at the shortest and more easily cut with a larger blade gap.
Nicely done Sir Paul🪒💈🪒What an explosion of color from Mrs H today, absolutely gorgeous arrangement, thanks. The Pearl razor did the job leaving no trace of the injured. Yeah, I've a good collection of shave sticks, Lea is good stuff. SOTD: PAA Cube, Razor Emporium "Old School" soap/splash, RazoRock "BC" synth brush, Rockwell "6C" w/KAI blade, alum, witch hazel and AV 5in1 balm to end...Stellar. Have a great rest of the week, take care and...Enjoy!
That is some colorful flowery display by Mrs. H. She definitely brightens your shave den! Another wonderful Wednesday shave. You always have a great result. The weekend will be here before we know it. Enjoy the milder weather.
Hey Paul... great shave. I've been working on my face lathering. I usually use a bowl to lather. I agree with you creating the lather is one my favorite parts too. I enjoy working up a nice creamy lather. The flower arrangement is beautiful please let Mrs. H know. Have a great rest of the week. Take care.
Hi Paul- Great shave; thank you! Lovely orange-themed flowers from Mrs H; thank you, very much, as always! I hope you have a great rest of the week. Be safe and be well. See you on Sunday for the weekend shave. All the best, Paul!
Hi Paul. Nice shave, that. Pearl is a cracking razor as is the blade. Great combo! Lea stick and the balm are both amazing quality for the price. You can buy both for just over a Euro in Spanish supermarkets. And their blades are fantastic too. All the best.
Morning Paul. I can’t give up my Gillette Slim as far as adjustable razors go. It is tried and true. I know people like to see something different. Beautiful arrangement Mrs H. Enjoy the rest of your week.
Thnx Paul your a great teacher. You got me started using my xtra aftershave like you. When I have xtra balm, that goes on my elbows. Really got them moisturized, thanx to you. Almost forgot to mention the breath taking arrangement. Best regards Fred H.
I’ve got no one to ask about de shaving other than your good self you’ve helped me along the de shaving journey I thought I’d ask you if it’s normal for my hair growth to become either more corse or more difficult to shave Currently using Merkur 42c And Astra blades
Stunning flowers. Kudos for Mrs H lovely taste. Have you ever tried dialing up the razor setting on each pass instead of dialing down? I've seen some shavers do it and the idea makes some sense. It's like mowing the lawn. You start to cut only the edges and then go down until it's really trimmed and even. You should go at it some day.
Outstanding setup from the master of wet shavers!!! Pearl flexi many say feels smoother than the Rex ambassador and it's a heavy tool. Lea amazing brand I have shaved with the stick, the menthol shaving cream, haven't used yet the soap and the shaving cream in the 250 tube. Don Miguel myrsol was one of my recent purchases amazing old school barbershop scent travels you in a Spanish barbers of old times.
Nice shave that. I saw that soap on amazon, in a beautiful wooden bowl, for rather inexpensive. It looks like it lathered nicely for you. Its 3am here right now, and im off to work. You and Mrs H, have a great day
I enjoy using the shave stick from LEA. Lovely clean scent. I'm still using straight razors. So it's going to be the Wacker 6/8 today. Hawkins & Brimble shaving cream. Simpson T3 brush. Humphreys lavender witchazel and Gummy lavender aftershave. Nivea balm. 🏴👍
Tomorrow is going to be a shave day. I'm going to make it a Razor Emporium day: Rex Ambassador razor, Razor Emporium Citrus Soap and their Citrus after shave splash. Haven't decided on the blade or brush yet!
I just recently tried the TREET BLACK BEAUTY CARBON STEEL BLADES SND I GOTTA SAY THEY ARE THE SMOOTHEST BLADES I THINK I EVER TRIED. They just won a spot in my top 10 along with Silver blue PermaSharp Nacet Astra SP Personna Red STRANGELET Treet Platinum Shaver Boy Rapira Platinum Lux

Very sunny and bright floral display, thankyou Mrs.H..👏☀... LEA soaps and creams are a great budget options IMO, they give great performance without any fuss, just not as well known as Arko and Proraso, at least not in my country (Aus).👍🤠🤟
I did a GIVEAWAY in your group awhile back and DON F was the winner! 🥳. I gave away a Pearl Flexi that I bought off Ken Surfs At the time I was buying a Rex ambassador so I figured I didn’t need it. Come to find out I actually liked the pearl Flexi a lot better and ended up getting rid of the REX LOL. You can call that giveaway remorse haha! 😵
Hi Paul, love your channel, I am about to purchase my first adjustable razor and deciding between the Pearl Flexi and the Merkur Progress, which one would you recommend? Cheers Adam
Two good choices there, I think the Progress is a bit more aggressive thank the Flexi. I prefer the look and feel of the Flexi myself. Good luck with whatever you buy Adam .
96.2276 INR = £1. 5500 INR for the razor that's just under £58, not including delivery. Can't find it on a UK website guess that's why your link is from the India website? Not for me, as you said it's a heavy one, unfortunately. Thanks, Paul thumbs up. 👍

Morning Paul & friends, greats vids & advise. I have fallen down the rabbit hole of not paying for expensive cartridges, just to spend half a mortgage on DE supplies. I don't regret it though, it gives me some pampering me time in the bathroom, the wife & teenagers moan, but I don't care LOL
You can't beat the LEA shave stick. It lasts years, has a great clean scent and lathers so well!
The Perl Flexi is my favorite adjustable razor so far. The Flexi is very smooth and very efficient. I love the weight of it as well. It's a great razor !
It’s a great all rounder isn’t it.
Love the flower arrangement today Paul. Best to you and Mrs H.
Did they finally fix the leveling issue and the head being loose?
