Karr did a great job against this offense, much better than the Carencro game (they just eventually got worn down as most folks do against them). They covered the play action and half-back passes pretty good, which is hard to do on a team that runs it this much. They got a good handle on Acadiana's vicious dive plays, the d-line was just crawling through all game and creating a pile, good game plan. The main thing that left open was the off tackle, and Karr's speed would take care of the outside stuff. The difference was that punt fake. Karr's line standing up on punts obviously is a weakness. The Karr's of the world have a history of putting a little (or lot) less thought into special teams, and it can make a difference in the big time games.
The one thing that karr has and that they continues too have year in and year out is speed and athleticism which is the reason why they are always championship contention and always a threat to other teams, but one of they're down falls is size up front on both sides of the ball, and this is why they have had trouble with teams the last several years out of the Lafayette area, first Carencro in the state title game which they a lead in the 4 quarter of that game, then west gate, last year in the semi finals Catholic of baton rouge, now this year acadiana. if karr ever get more bigger up from on the offensive line with the caliber of speed and athleticism at the receiver position because I watched acadiana and Lafayette Christian jawaun Dawson had so much time to throw, number 2 for LCA Trey Grossman, so they had to abandon the run, LCA had gotten far ahead of them, so they had to abandon that vear rushing attack,so they were forced too do what they weren't use of throwing the football ball, this is what Catholic of baton rouge strategy is gonna be. it's ecential that that karr gets bigger up front for better pass protection too allow their receivers time enough too get deep. another problem for karr is moving into the Catholic league and playing Curtis and all those teams, which keeps them scheduling games the way they use against team up north Louisiana like wossman different parts of Louisiana including Catholic of baton rouge they were always prepared by playing those teams doing the regular season,one of the reasons they were successful winning those 4A championships against Neville, they can't do that now playing in that Catholic league with Curtis brother martin Jesuit st Aug ,rummel holy Cross and now next season Warren Easton is entering the catholic district
When I watched acadiana against Lafayette Christian,no offense to acadiana but it was like watching boys against men with the size LCA had up front on that offensive line was huge and then you have the QB who's an LSU recruit jawaun Dawson and that receiver no 2 Trey Grossman whom I believe is highly recruited at the receiver position, that guy looked like a pro wide receiver the way he beat acadiana s secondary for 2 80 something yd touchdown passes, and karr has that combinations as sophomores in QB John Johnson the LSU receiver recruit I think it's no 14 Frances and the other receiver no 17 both receivers 6"2 sophomore and junior but karr just have to get bigger up front but none the less congratulations to acadiana, they're a top notch program that have won state championships these they and Zachary.
U must have not seen karr online 😂😂 they mostly underclassmen karr gotta freshmean de 6’3 225 sophmore dt 6’3 338 number 40 is a junior dt/de. 6’4 240 number 44 6’2 220 jr and thats not the ones im missing they just mostly soph
@@nenola504 I was looking at their lines as to why they've been losing in the playoffs the last three years, on offense it's hard to see where they're week at, I don't think it's at the skill positions because that's where, they always have the most talented athletic fast players , it's something that has caused them too lose and get knocked out the playoffs the last 3 years, but I would have to say it's the defense.
Karr need a qb look at team like desoto and duncanville in texas they gotta atleast 3 to 5 star qb evry year who could sling it even lca qb could sling it the last great qb karr had was leonard kelly dude was throwin the ball 60 yards in the air even when landry walker won in 5a they had a great qb that year karr qbs been mediocare not sayin aj wasnt a dawg but he would always underthrow his man karr need a real qb
The key to stopping the veer is the linebacker’s have to fill their gaps hard Acadiana ran the same play most of the game 😂😂 like how many times y’all gon let them kick the end out and y’all not fill the gap
That offense in this day in time should be unstoppable nobody wants to fill 30 to 50 times in a game. Football is not played that way anymore it was beautiful thing to see again
I mean it was a 6 point win lol doesn't really sound like domination lol both executed well and it was just going to come down to whoever had the ball last will win, good football game overall.
