  • For those who miss going to the cinema to watch an old-fashioned scary movie, well hold on to your popcorn, because if an evil giant spider who terrorises a family doesn’t scare the bejesus out of you, then check your pulse. In this episode of ReelTalk, Ben interviews the star of Sting, Aussie Ryan Corr (The Secrets She Keeps), about working with a 3D spider and being squirted with fake blood, glue, lube and rubber web. Written and directed by Kiah Roache-Turner (Wyrmwood: Apocalypse) Sting follows a young girl who secretly keeps a pet spider, who transforms into a giant flesh-eating monster. Ryan explains while Sting might not appeal to people with arachnophobia, it does have some good fun ‘jump out of your seat’ moments for those who love a good scary movie. Ryan also talks about his “pinch yourself” moment working on the latest Game of Thrones series, House of the Dragon, where he played Ser Harwin 'Breakbones' Strong.
