I feel like Paul is accustomed to being "your boy". He responds with indignation to anyone who does not dote on his every word. Suddenly they are his sworn enemy yet he expects them to bow down and reward him for being vindictive. And he refuses to look at the man in the mirror.
It's quite remarkable how he is oblivious to the fact why he has now lost two seasons in a row... He just can't wrap his mind around how awful he is...but, we the live viewers are very much aware.

One, don't use that word. Two, she's absolutely correct in that Paul caused his own loss. Losing once can be blamed on a salty jury, but losing twice says more about Paul's game than it does about the jury.

Would all of them apologized to him if they voted him out? No matter what happens there can only be one winner and he was always the third wheel. Everyone had there final two. He did what he had to do. No apologies necessary. Everyone is just hating because Paul played one the best social games. Even Dr. Will called the houseguest out and said "are you sure all of you aren't sore losers". Even he knew Paul played magnificently. He knew the jury was voting on emotion when there only job is to vote for who played the game the best (which was Paul hate him or love him).
At the end of the day everyone gets voted out but two people. It's a game. Why apologize for something that inevitable

Sorry Paul, Josh did have a strategy and he played you. Josh stated in his pre show interviews that his strategy was to be underestimated. You underestimated him, you thought he was your dumb attack dog, whose game you could destroy, and then you would take him to the end and beat his dumb ass with ease. You couldn't believe he was clever enough to blow up your game in his good bye messages. He out smarted you!
Jane Grey My theory- Paul thought he could treat everyone in the house like his dogs(Cody quote) but you had an Alpha dog(Cody), a in heat dog(for Cody) that wasn't going to be your bitch, two strays(Mark/Elena) and three pit pups(Alex/Jason/Josh) that grew some balls and turned on you. Turns out you didn't master your pack because you acted like a beta and a animal abuser, so you got mauled.

Had he not chosen to continue lying to everyone in their goodbye messages with things like "if your seeing this then they betrayed me too and I'll probably be seeing you next week" and just owned that he played them like Josh did(or Mike Boogie also in All-Stars) then I think he would have gotten more votes. Honestly I think he would have gotten most if not all, with the exception of Cody of course since he told him early in the game he would win. Most of the jury was huge bb fans and would have respected that. If you rewatch the season and pay attention to their facial expressions during the goodbye messages several were hurt once hearing Paul lie then Josh tell the truth.

Nick Spaloss What was he supposed to do? He could either tell the truth and get exposed early on or sneak into the final 2. His only mistake was dodging questions in the interrogation and making faces during Josh's speech. He just played the game. He didn't sin in lying in the game. It was all a game.
For starters, he could've told the already evicted houseguests the cold hard truth instead of continuing to dodge all responsibility in his goodbye message, because what purpose did it really serve continuing to lie to those who were already evicted and wouldn't come back into the game?
The interviewer just accepted everything he said as truth and didn't push back at all.

Correction...Derrick actually had the best male social game in BB history. Being the only BB winner to never touch the block, and sending people to jury wanting to vote for him to win are two things that I'd say make a great social game. And for a more understated social game, also watch BB12, because Hayden also understood the social part very well, and it clearly paid off for him.

Derrick controlled the house from day 1, was never on the block, and had the majority of the jury wanting him to win because of how good his jury management was. How is that a worse social game than Paul's, who's lost twice in as many seasons?

He didn't show up at the wrap party...wonder if anyone has heard from him. He was not my favorite player, but being in the BB house is no easy feat on its own -- add losing 2 summers in a row and you can only imagine how bad the guy feels. I just hope he's doing OK. Without judgment or focus on the game he played...it's just that -- a game and he's a human being.

Paul has been a genius both BB seasons. If the 500K decision wasn't given to bitter, vengeful former houseguests he would have won the last two seasons, especially BB19 when it comes to strategy.

zoey taylor Last season, he picked Nicole over James. James wouldn’t have one. He is so dumb for saying I’m not going to reward James not doing anything. He should have taken the person who didn’t play as well. This season, he screwed up his own game by lying, backstabbing, which would not go across well with any juror. Therefore, your comment is false.
Part of the strategy is jury management. He loses his whole game in how he handled people leaving. Also his personal vendetta against Cody hurt him in the long run.
Which is why jury management is a more important factor in winning the game. Bitter or not, the jury can vote how they see fit and it’s up to the player who evicted them to sincerely explain why they had to in order to further their game and not be so cocky about it.
I love the complete lack of self awareness in discussing Cody winning favorite player. I wonder if it ever occurred to him that if the one guy who he and all his pathetic allies hated winning AFP is indicative of anything, its that he was perceived as even worse than that.
I remember this season…. Paul should’ve gotten a gold medal for manipulation and gaslighting people.

Backstabbing and lying to people to get further in the game is what your supposed to. The jury was bitter. Paul played a perfect game. Won 9 comps. Had a hand in every eviction and prevented the block the whole season. And he’s the only vet. I don’t understand what he would have to own up to he didint do anything but play a good game.

Paul fully deserved to lose...his fault for not taking jury management into account. Until he realizes that's his weak point and works on it, he still won't win if he returns for a third time.

Except unlike Paul, Josh understood the importance of being honest and upfront with the jury, and that eventually gave him the edge. Notice how both of them handled the goodbye messages part...Paul continued to lie to everyone and deny all responsibility for what he helped orchestrate, while Josh was completely open and honest about his part in everything that happened in the BB house. Likewise, a lot of the jury respected that Josh would call people out to their face and own up to his strategy when asked about it by the jury, while Paul hiding behind others and telling unnecessary lies even at jury questioning wasn't as well received. Moral of the story, always be honest and own up to your game, and that will get you jury votes.
