Damn, Johnny, the whole thing sounds great. You need to make another album already. Inspiring Nightmare was perfect and I miss your riffs. Anyway, for the tone videos. How would you make a tone like in Nyu by Veil of Maya with TH3?

mine sounds flat why is that? yours sounds natural what am i missing? i use behringer umc404 hd as an audio interface. do you have a tip of how could i get that kind of sound?
johny, can I have a "roaring djent" tone using my 6 string. I found the pitch shifter can help me to get that low tune but I lost that roaring sound . what should I use and in what frequency area should I tweak, sorry for my bad english. thx
in the Periphery / Tesseract episode i show how to dial in a djenty tone. the "roar" mainly comes from a the stomp - amp - cab setup. how you balance it frequency wise is kind of optional. but i would be careful not to go overboard in any way. i used to put a lot of emphasis on the 1k area. now when i think back, my tones often sounded kind of nasaly because of that. rather you want to EQ where it´s needed to balance things out in the mix. and the same goes for EQing for tone shaping. don´t just blindly focus on frequencies you hear about in tutorials, like i did. because it varies from tone to tone. listen to your tone in context of your mix and analyze what it needs.
GREAT sets of unique videos for the TH3. You're really teaching me a lot how to use this software on a higher level! PLEASE keep it up!!...
I liked it alot!! sounded great!

Great sound! Can you dial in the fuzz, etc. settings for “That Lady” by Isley Brothers? Ernie Isley nails that tone I love for fuzz
Cool thanks

This vid is great!
How about them Milton cleans?
Did you use an octaver before all this? Also please make a tutorial on ambient distorted tone like the ones new Emmure has in the background.
i just played octaves on the guitar. good idea about the ambient distorted guitar. i´ll add it to my list.
does TH3 can make shimmer type reverbs (reverb into octave up)?
there is a pitch shifter and the signal splitter. i´m sure you can set it up that way.
Thank you :D
can you give me the link of this song? it's good
How do i get my delay to be synced with the DAW? It won't change to notes length from milliseconds..
left of the time dial there´s a tiny button that turns milliseconds into beats. at 2:21 you can see me click it.

Hey Johnny, are you using your ibanez 7? Your guitar tone sounds different
yes, i recorded this with my Ibanez 7.
Make a clean tone for arpegiated chords stuff.
