It would be cooler if the available costumes actually HAVE effects in the general gameplay. Simple example, Luigi costumes makes Mario jump.... higher? Metal Suit prevents Mario from swimming? Swimming without having to worry about air with... astronaut costume?

Listen up: each costume has a NEXT level. fire mario becomes triple fire mario. cape mario becomes a vacuume cleaner. cat mario becomes loli catgirl mario. bee mario becomes beedrill mario. frog mario becomes wart mario. but you would have to collect the same power up twice in a row, if you collect a new one, you just change like normal. and then they could go Kirby 64 with it and let you mix the powers.

There were a lot of times where the video just assumes that certain outfits were replaced by others but there's no reason to assume that. Like how do you know they replaced the native american one with the cowboy? And if the devs confirmed it, how hard is it to cite a source in the video or description?
I can see how a lot of the crossdressing costumes were left out. I'm sure Japan didn't want to over-represent (or encourage) the okama lifestyle/hobby.
