Interesting...in my opinion the main difference is in the way the changes in our life might happen: death card suggest a natural and spontaneous change that might happen from within, while the tower suggest a big and sudden change coming from the outside almost like a shock.
The 6 of Swords’ Waterhouse painting is based off of Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem The Lady of Shalott. There are definite parallels to Ophelia (Hamlet being written 200 years previously) but her name is Elaine of Astolat 🤓
It is a beautiful deck and can tell she put thought in it, I could just do without the cards with exotic animal skins- tiger, etc. Yes, I understand it was something that was part of that time, and depicted in some of the art, It still doesn’t mean that I want to see it in cards, it’s hard. Especially knowing how endangered they are now. So many other beautiful choices of art to select from, and I’d probably get it if those cards weren’t in it. Thanks for sharing 🧡
Amazing review!! I ordered her Chthonia Edition and it’s stunning! 😍
Yes! I love PreRaphaelite art too so this deck has definitely been on my radar 🌹🌷 so lush and dreamy
Personal request.. would you mind doing a video on the difference/similarities of the Death versus the Tower card?
