My top goal is also the most difficult reading habit for me in 2024, and that is reading my physical shelves. I've actually decided to make myself a challenge to read 30% of my owned physical shelves because I have 317 books (physically, if we're talking digitally it's currently at a ridiculous number that I will not be sharing on the interwebs😅). I've only read 29 of them, meaning 288 are sitting on my shelves judging me in horror everytime I choose an ebook/audiobook. My second highest goal is to tackle all of the series I'm in the middle of. The third and final absolute priority goal I have for 2025 is to read all of the books I've gotten from book boxes (BOTM and Scribbler).
I have a lot of moodreading planned but some of my goals are to read 20% of my owned tbr that is published before 1975 and to DNF and unhaul 10 books, because my shelves are overflowing. Another goal is to continue 10 series, finishing is ambitious, but I need to read those sequels!!!

I tracked the percent of books bought this year and read this year and have consistently been around 33-35% so I decided to aim for 40% next year! It feels like it’ll be harder but still achievable and will help me continue to work on my book buying habits (adhd impulsivity for the win lol)
My biggest goal for next year is specific books/series I want to read. Past that I do better without specific goals in mind, but I do love watching your progress on your bingo board from hell.
I didn't participate this year but I'm going to in 2025 with a few minor tweaks haha because I will probably manage that library one in a month and I actually have the opposite problem where library books have deadlines so all I read are them while my owned books languish around for years. And I might swap the audiobook square for translated works but the rest I'm keeping. Especially the series' squares and the clearing the shelves . The board looks great and I can't wait to start it ❤.

One of my goals is to read more library (or free books) than what a purchase. It helps me prioritize supporting my local library system. Fortunately with the Libby app, this includes e-books.
The new bingo board looks really pretty. The colours are quite calming. This year, I completely forgot about all my yearly challenges after a few months, recently re-discovered them, and thought: better luck next year! My main goals are always: buy less and read more from my TBR. I'm not very successful with either of them. I want to read down the books I own physically this next year. I am thinking about having a goal that is half of my overall reading be books I own. I might also add a big book goal to encourage myself to read over 500 page books. I like the two series goals you have and agree those are two different things. Personally, I like to spread my series reading out and don't read them back to back. So it can be easy to forget to go back to a series. So your separate squares make sense to me. I think I would also like a reread square. I do really enjoy re-reading books so this would be an easy one for me. Help keep me motivated.
🏨 my main goal this year was to get through my tbr by using challenges as prompts. I’ve definitely gone through a lot of books that I wouldn’t have chosen, but I’ve also had to buy books to fulfill alit of the prompts 🙈 So there’s a lot left. So this year I’m prioritising my tbr by having a lucky dip jar of the titles I own, and not so many challenges. There will be new books and books next year that I will get and read, but as long as the majority is tbrs then I’ll be happy 😃

In 2025 my focus is finding a healthy rhythm because reading became my #1 hobby again in 2024 to an unsustainable degree and I’m trying to bring that into balance with other life goals and hobbies :) I may join the challenge but I’ll have to think long and hard about what to put on the board 🤔
This made me check how many of my books purchased in 2024 I’ve read. I almost exclusively read audiobooks and I bought nearly 500 and I have read 96. 😱 Did not realise I bought that many. Yikes! So I’m definitely using the read a percentage of your purchased books square in 2025!
I bought one of those book journals with prompts and challenges and I think I'm going to have that be my focus for 2025 but my #1 goal is to finally start reading adult fantasy! I have so many series on my shelves but they have been intimidating me since I bought them over the last 2 years. I was absent from reading for about 10 years because of my undiagnosed ADHD but I was always into YA SFF before and now that I'm back into reading again, I am excited to level up my fantasy reading. 🤞🏻
I did find that the prizes, never really did anything, I just loved putting stickers in my reading journal of things I completed y'know? I also find that I am gonna try and do the 60% challenge for 2025 (I counted books i bought and it was 79 currently which honestly isn't that bad!) I can't wait to make my own
My main goal is to come back to read fantasy and mistery. Since the pepperoni I haven’t been able to read longer books or those with more intricate plots or casts. I’m living off of historical romance or paranormal-urban fantasy-romance (I find those easier and I usally finish them in one sitting or at most in a few days) and I’m craving something more… more. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Ilona Andrews, Nalini Singh or Tessa Dare (that last one is your fault, from an old live video cooking with Harry) and I plan to continue reading them but not exclusively as it has been in 2020-2024.

🏩 I want to get back, slowly, to reading non-fiction. I spent 7 years finishing two masters (Library science and history) and read virtually nothing but non-fiction non-stop. I found midway through this year I was not reading non-fiction at a descent pace. In fact, though I liked the topics/subjects of the books and was anxious to read them, I was conversely not enjoying (read dreading) the actually reading experience. SO half-way through the year I pivoted completely (or nearly so) away from non-fiction and started reading only fiction. Think candy flossing the brain. It has been great. This next year I would like to reintroduce non-fiction books (1 every other month or 1 a month) and see how it goes.
I'm drowning in books I just can't say mo when someone says do you want this book even thou I know deep down I'm not going to be reading it for years. I have no room in my house for new books so something has to change. So my poorly is sorting that out and one way I can think of is allowing my self to dnf as soon as I feel like I should instead of forcing my self through it in case it gets better. And also only reading two books at once not the amount I'm currently reading 14. I'll be doing the board 1st time I think im going to do mostly the same taks as you except instead of audio. Read audio books I'm going to do Read books on my kindle I got for free and never read kindle currently has over 3000 books I haven't read.

What I struggled with in 2024, was finding time for my other hobbies of knitting and sewing which really took a hit because for the first time I really concentrated on reading. In 2025 I’ll need to get a more balanced schedule and not feel bad if I don’t read as many books. I will also be buying fewer books in 2025 because my shelves are very full at the moment. thank you so much for the board and all the extras I will be using it and tweaking it just a bit. 🏨
