He is correct in one statement. I and many others most likely, never heard of an Aggie Ring until I entered as a fish in September of 1961 as a member of the class of 1965. I was excited when I finally got mine in the mail. I rarely ever took it off from that day. As member serves me it only cost $27.50 in the spring of 1964, but considering that a semester of fees living on campus only cost about $500, $27.50 was still a goodly amount.
