I tried for 5 years to encourage another Sister to do Her best to stop drinking. She was in rehab and quit. I finally gave up trying because it began to affect my health and happiness. Tanya sealed her own fate. She had every opportunity to do well, but she chose to destroy her life. Very sad - I could see the emotion in your eyes, my friend - stay strong. You did the best anyone could. As for Pasha, I worry for those girls. They will miss their father if they are taken away, but what's most important is that they are cared for. You are a saint, be proud of your good deeds.

Tanya and her sister appear to have facial features of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. I suspect they both have learning disabilities and poor reasoning skills, which is also part of the syndrome. They need help because it's unlikely they can really live well by themselves without supervision and some support. They aren't functioning on all four cylinders and that needs to be a consideration.

We live in an impoverished rural area where there is unfortunately higher rates of alcoholism and drug addiction. America may be considered a developed country, but driving through our town it certainly doesn’t look like that. People living in run-down trailers/homes/buildings struggling to get by. We lived in a old rat/bug infested trailer that didn’t have any sort of air conditioning before we were able to save enough to get a small house that needs a lot of work but we are still blessed. Seeing your videos makes me realize how similar people’s struggles are everywhere.Praying for you. We’ve as well as people in our church tried to help many drug/alcohol addicted people but haven’t been very successful. I’ve gotten to the point where I will only help to get them into a rehab and help them afterward only if they stay clean and follow strict rules.

I'm wondering if both women were born with fetal alcohol syndrome. I haven't followed everything in this channel, only a bit here and there and probably the audience knows more. The facial features of both are very similar to FAS, the eyes far apart and the lack of philtrum. If this is the case then their issue and alcohol dependence may have a neurological basis and they suffer pathologies more than the rest of us do.

At 6:00 Sergiej tells to a abused women that she deserves the beating. They need to stop to talk to Sergiej! He showed his real face, once he felt he lost control and narrative of "I'm so great I make people stop to drink", so his mask slips and he shows his real, agresive side.

    • @eadlondon-nm2uy
      @eadlondon-nm2uy Рік тому +1

@@Ma-oh6xo This is the first time I've seen this channel. So I don't know anyone in the film. But there may be other reasons why he said that. It must be painful, frustrating and very disappointing to find these people going backwards after a lot of effort has been made to help them before.
I agree it isn't a nice thing to say, but maybe a part of it is a shock tactic, when one doesn't know what else to do. Later on, the apparent harshness he shows to Pasha (the father who is drinking, has two daughters who were not in this film/episode) may actually be needed to push Pasha to stop drinking. He asks him his age, then says that Pasha needs to stop drinking, raise his children and then when the children are grown, the father will be free to do what he wants with his life. Good advice.
All of these people need additional support, some of it professional/medical but I doubt those kind of services exist there, sadly.

You help so many people in genuinely dire conditions that I really can't see of what further help you can be to either Tanya or her sister at present who are happily destroying themselves. Yes, stopping drinking is hard, but they are not in the right mindset to even genuinely want to turn it around and the last thing they need is anyone offering the means to continue drinking alochol (meaning, any financial help). Tanya only says she wants to be coded, because you just found her out! Same with Pasha, but there are his children to consider. It certainly wouldn't be right to offer them funds donated by people worldwide. Some people really can't be helped and even though we know life's hard and challenging, no one can save someone who won't be saved. I know there is no magic place to take people one time and they stay away from alcohol forever after. Before I became disabled myself,I worked with finding housing for ladies fleeing domestic abuse situations. They needed social help on many levels, sometimes those who had been on the lowest rungs of the socioeconomic scale once the finally received some money all types of friends & relatives tried to move in and drink or drug off of the money that was for other household purposes. Sometimes the mother would used her card to buy food & her friends would try to trade the kids food for money so they could get alcohol or drugs. I understand your frustration. But I have also seen people stop drinking after many years, some with treatment some without. The main thing that saved them was to stay away from bad company, don’t go to their house, don’t let them in yours.

I'm sorry to hear about Tanya and Pasha. The girls must be devastated that their dad is drinking and it's especially bad since his brothers go to their house to drink. That can't be good for the girls. If he continues drinking it might be better that they're found somewhere else to live. As long as Tanya is with her sister she will probably continue to drink. Natasha really needs to see a dentist because she's living with chronic pain which doesn't help. You can't do anything for them. Hopefully one day Tanya will call and they'll be ready to get sober. Thanks for the glimpse of the nursing home. At least they have a place to live that cares for them. It's better than some of the old people you find that live alone. Keep doing your good work even if sometimes it doesn't work out. My brother was a terrible alcoholic and we never thought he'd get sober but it happened. 30 years later he's still sober. It can happen.

I agree with you Sergei, do not give addict money or help. It will only go to alcohol or drugs.

I do not think they need your help anymore just a waste of time. You did your best and this is the way they repay you. They are not trying hard enough. I think they are just using your kindness. maybe just go help foster kids and the elderly who really need it. I see Russia has a real bad drinking problem. I do not see them trying to better themselves. My hats off for you though, you are trying to help people and they are taking advantage of you. My deep respect for you and what you are doing. The children suffer the most from this alcholilism . I feel for you because I see great diappointment in you with these two sisters, than she has the nerve to ask you for money for beer no shame there on her part. Your kindness wasted there. God bless your kindness , sorry but I could not watch anymore. I fear or the man's daughter with these men hanging around there drinking, they are so vunerable

Thank you sir, we were just in the motherland a few weeks ago, and were able , praise God , to bless some people also.
We also tried our best not to be bumbling American idiots, so they can see we’re all not insane.
Again, thank you for what you do.
    It’s just beautiful.

I still believe it could have been Tanya’s foolish ways that landed dear Dima into such trouble. Wish he’d never met her.

Don't give her money. If she doesn't spend it on money, her sister will.
She should NEVER haven't her sister in to live with her.
Also, there's a poor cat caught in this
Well. At least she was honest in the end with why she wanted money in the end
Those poor daughters too with all those men about. I don't like it at all

And a poor cow with the guy. As a farmer myself, it was killing me hearing it moo. It was hungry.
Very first thing I do at daylight is feed and water the animals.
      Poor cow.😞
