Something else i have to buy now 😂🤣. But on a real note, Thanks for making everything you make, and coming up with to make life easier on the oldtown kayak 🍻🥃😎... Thanks again to Nick and the family behind the behind the scenes that make all this possible, you all are awesome 😎👍🏼 💯
Nick I just received the anchor stick mount. I want to say thanks for creating a quality piece of equipment that will help while on the water. The only reason I bought an old town sportsman 132 was because you are making the yak better with all that you make. Like the rudder, the seat elevation pieces as well as the pdl. Now if we could only get the manufacturers to do more before they rush items out there would be no use for guys who make our lives easier. Keep it up, you and your wife are doing great work

Hi Nick I have your stake anchor mount attached to my Hobie Lynx, and really like it. What I like about it is …it is a solid piece and helps keeps your kayak oriented and where you want it. Unlike the others that sling along the side on a trolley line.
I’d like to see this in a updated version that has somthimg similar to how mops are held up that you could pull to ur power pole up and leave it in the mount move a little bit and push it back down
How viable is this mount for your standard non pedal drive kayak? I have a vibe sea ghost 130 with factory side rails wondering if it will get in the way when paddling. Thanks for your time.
@@NavarreKayakFishing I’ve got mine mounted all the way up on my rail right now. Unfortunately I will not be able to go paddling until Friday afternoon after work. I’ve used my park pole in the past with my anchor trolley. Thank you for your time.
The longer version is only needed if the track is further set into the kayak. Most kayaks will use the smaller version. If you can get the stake out pole into the ground it will hold without issues.
Will the 5 inch do the trick on a F12 Nucanoe? Do you want to use one on each side or front and back to keep the kayak from spinning around one anchor point only? Thank you for any light you can shed on my goal of anchoring my kayak in the direction I want to cast or blast.
Hey Nick….I’m also Nick the kayaker here in FL 😉. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for regarding a mount for my anchor pole on my PDL 120! The only question I have is…what’s the best option for storing the pole itself? Do you have any other accessory mounts for it? Or is it better to just put it in a pole holder?
@@NavarreKayakFishing any idea what the difference is between that one and YakGear - YakStick Floating Stake-Out Stick? Except price lol. Will this one fit your mount?
What would you suggest as to, how to secure the stakeout pole to the yak... (sportsman 106 PDL)? Would you put one on each side or is it pretty easy to switch over when need to (based on yak positioning/terrain)?
Nick, just got mines from you, thanks again brother! From watching your other videos I assume you have the yakattack 8' (one piece) pole. How do you mount that to the Big water/predator? Trying to find right placement for things on my Big water without feeling over crowded
This seems to work in water with extremely soft bottoms. Not so much where there's even a bit of current or harder to penetrate bottoms. What to do in those situations? Thanks!
Looking for the length of this product, and cant find it on the site....Was considering ordering one but want to ensure it will clear my gunwales on my Nucanoe Unlimited. Its got fat and wide gunwales, and I was concerned about clearance with this. Cleaver Idea!
Stephen, It’s 5.5” from the mounting holes to the center of the 1” hole for the stakeout pole. We have an 8” version in the works. If interested I can make it available.
I can’t look back at my original post unless I post this so I will clarify what I am asking as I look at the website. Maybe I asked the wrong question initially . I’m referring to the Mounting Knobs. Website says: Choose an option - 1” (2 Pack) or 1.5” (2 Pack). So as I get clarity my kayak is destined to have a lot of Navarre items on it. 😀
Both sizes will work on the kayak. The length you need depends on the accessory you’re mounting. We supply the 1.5” bolts with the anchor mount because it’s 3/4” thick. If you’re mounting a material that’s not as thick the 1” versions will work well.
@@NavarreKayakFishing no problem. I'm just worried that the 5 inch model I ordered will be enough room length wise to clear the paddle when it's locked into the bungee holder on the side of the kayak. 🤔
Is there a way to mount the anchor stick to the anchor mount so that it's already standing straight up while moving and you can push the stick straight down into the water without constantly picking it up and sticking it in the hole?
Anchoring up with the Stick It pole on the side will not allow you to fish (cast) from front if the wind or tide are against you. A anchor trolley will move the position of the anchor and even that isn’t always successful
It simply depends on where you are fishing. Sometimes the pole is only used to stop the kayak from drifting when tying on a different bait or eating a snack.

Yes, sir.
Will there be a future model that will work in the back by the power pole attachment with a deployable rope to lift and lower it?
There are several companies that produce various items that already serve that purpose. Bernie’s River Stick, YakGadget, and so on.
Would this work on ascend 12t railing system?
Yes it will.

It simply depends on where you are fishing. Sometimes the pole is only used to stop the kayak from drifting when tying on a different bait or eating a snack.
Serious question.... isn't it dangerous to anchor/pole from the side of your kayak?
It just depends on where you plan to anchor. Should you anchor like that in 20Mph winds and 2’ chop. Not at all.
