captain cockerel found that if you build a really large net in the workbench, it'll be bigger once you extend it. of course you can still retract the net to be much smaller than it is in the workbench. the way you have your current nets connected, they are overlapping quite a bit. 4 connections per net is all that is required to get the net to spawn. also the net will billow out if the anchors aren't locked in place. one winch per anchor would be sufficient to allow maximum billowing. it's not really a "big deal" but may help in capturing fish quicker. as always, these are only suggestions. looking forward to the next episode.
@@BizzaDan you can use the fish finder as you explore deeper waters to find fish hotspots, then take a mental note of the area. Just beware of the kraken and megaledon and kraken if you do this!
Thats cool. Looks like good fishing boat is a must for campaign. Im glad i finished fixing my own helicopter. Time to build a fishing trawler of my own.
Maybe you could hook a winch from the main boat of the boat to the front of the net poles that you contract to hold the nets from flying into the future rear crane
I got an idea for a boat that could be plausible Make a container based hauler with everything for it but have extra space for fishing so you can deliver containers while fishing simultaneously, would get you extra cash

I can confirm the net anchor workbench size is bigger when you spawn in having max workbench with😀👍, and like it a lot.

your current net setup is good for shallow fishing, might want to use large winches for deeper waters, also like your fishing trawler.
Not sure how much deep water we will do on this save, I have to start a new game to be able to buy the fishing locations unfortunately
