Wow!! This is lovely and your art style is so cute! I’m trying to get back into animating again, so it’s always cool to see others process on how they go about it
Mais c'est magnifique de fou 😭💕 trop cool de voir ton processus !! Merci de partager tout ça ! Franchement, c tellement smooth et doux à la fois J'adore !!!
This method is called pose to pose animation. It's helpful for character animation where precise movements are needed. Straight ahead animation is usually done on the loose bits like hair, clothing, special effects or other things that need to appear more fluid and spontaneous.
really nice ! It really help to learn the process. Would you mind to explain how you figure out how many inbetween you choose to use? Like how you think to say okay, I'll use this Numbers of frames?
umm its usually like i hit play and if it lacks smoothness, then i quickly sketch an inbetween and if it looks better i draw it, and like that until it's clean enough
@@Damedelion Sure ! Red lines are the lines that were made from my teacher's advice (for example, he advised me to add more poses, so i drew them in red - it's to highlight 'what comes after the teacher's feedback' ) The shadow is blue because at this point, it's more convenient to use only one color for the shadow, i'm not thinking about the color but only the "position" of the overall shadow, so i prefer to focus only on this and change it to the true colors later. It's blue specifically because I like it, but it coule be any color since I change it after. I hope this is useful please tell me if you need more information!
For me it means the step where you edit the rough animation to redefine it to make it look more clear, basically the step between Rough animation and Clean up. I'm not sure of the actual definition though👀
If I remember correctly, I first imported the photo of the drawing, then edited brightness and contrast in order to make the drawings appear black on white. then I used the function "convert brightness into opacity" in order to transform the white into transparent. Then since the drawings were on the same layer (since they were taken in the same picture), I separated them by selecting them one by one (lasso tool), and copy and pasted them into new separated layers. I then put all the individual drawing layers into an animation folder, and used the Cell menu (right click on the timeline section) to set the timing of each drawing in the good order. I used displacement tool to move the drawing at the good location in the frame. I'm sorry that's a lot of steps but I hope it helps !
I’m so glad this is on UA-cam so I can save as future reference for animating
why wait?
You can really feel the weight in this. The time spent studying and roughing out the motion was worth it.
This is so lively and gorgeous! Really illustrates how much work goes into animating even just a few seconds

can I ask some questions? Why are some outlines black, others red? And why were the shadows blue before?

what's a tie-down?

May I ask how you put together your scratch in to clip studio?

And yet to animate you need to fully understand anatomy 🥲
HAHA!!!!!! absolutely not, I don't know so much about anatomy 😤
The character model sheet of chihiro itself was enough as a reference
Félicitations pour les 2k Somon!
merci beaucoup Riri, Chaise Ikea !!!
@@somonpng de rien :>
what program and brush is that?
Clip studio paint, and I think I created the brush myself but I forgot
how long did it take to make it?
I forgot but probably one or two weeks!
I lack the drawing part more than the animation part fuuc😅
Me too actually, ahaha it's ok !! You can animate anything !
