Thank you for this! I have the same shower in my rv but even less room with sink base and toilet in same space. Probably about 18” when stepping out of shower with the towel rack on the short shower wall where the door hinges. That means you have to step out of the shower and around the door to reach the towel or throw it in the sink so it’s available when your ready to dry off. The door sticks and is both hard to close and open. If not careful to be sure it’s fully closed it leaves a gap at bottom where water can leak out. NOW I know what we can do without ripping out the whole thing! Cedar may be expensive but I’m sure it’s less than a full remodel. What a great solution! Thanks a million! ❤
We have not gone item-for-item in weighing what we removed vs what we put in the camper. But there was a fair amount of weight lost in the demo that was returned in the rebuild, plus a little more here or there. We're not too concerned because nothing is excessive or intentionally heavy. I think the shower might have almost been a 1to1 net neutral with weight. The sofa as well. But there are other things that definitely added weight --- Lindsay's dang throw (away!) pillows! =)
Sorry, it is sort of buried in our entire Season 4. And we did our remodel in jumbled stages, but you should find it here: ua-cam.com/video/EELyHDj7zrQ/v-deo.html
The first time we painted we used Rust-Oleum Tub and Tile (amzn.to/3S0vEMQ) but it is not available now. We had to repaint the floor due to use and we opted for this one (amzn.to/3UiM9VM)
Sorry, the camera broke at that point! I had to drill out the screws because they were rusty/stripped and then did a bit of prying (careful not to shatter the glass!). It wasn't pretty - so kind of nice the camera broke when it did!

We didn’t do a perfect job, and the camera broke when we were tearing apart the shower. But you can definitely make it custom to your size and setup!
Keep up the good work.. your almost done...... GO GO GO....
So close!
Love it! cant ait to see the finished product.
Very soon!
Are concerned about adding extra weight to your rig? Looking good so far.

What type of paint did you use for the shower

So how did you get the glass out? I'm stuck where you shut it off. When you turned the camera back on the glass was gone.
