Rodtang is the Iron Man of Muay Thai. Rising onto the scene by giving Tenshin Nasukawa his toughest fight to date, he is now a full on superstar in the world of striking. His fights in One Championship proved that he is nearly unstoppable with his iron chin and relentless aggression.
On March 26, he will face the pound for pound great Demetrious Johnson in a special rules fight. Who will win? I have no idea, but for sure the fans win.

@@danielabbott6859 DJ's striking was the most surprising factor to me. I knew he was capable of doing it under MMA rules but I never expected him to land so many overhand rights in Rodtang's world. Maybe Rodtang was too pressured to knock him out early and went too wide on his shots but impressive performance by Mighty Mouse and Rodtang.

Buakaw mastered the style of Body; faster, stronger, tougher, endurance.
Saenchai mastered the style of the Mind; fight iq, multiple techniques from multiple angles, reads.
Rodtang mastered the style of the Spirit; feeds off the crowd, feeds off the dmg done and dmg taken, overwhelming presence and breaks his opponents' Spirit.
Keep up the great work my brother 🙏

I'm assuming Rodtang has been training his ground game. He needs to take notes from dominant strikers that have wrestling backgrounds and effectively defend against real grapplers. Chuck Liddell in prime comes to mind. I'm cheering for Rod but I agree I think this fight ends in the second.

Rodtang is a perfect example of a highly idiosyncratic style that absolutely works at a world-class level against elite fighters, but no credible striking coach would teach them. Emanuel Augustus also comes to mind. As does MVP.

I really think he's at huge disadvantage in a MMA match against one the best ever to do it, just like Mighty Mouse would be in a kickboxing match. A man who can switch from striking to wrestling to BJJ to ground and pound so fast it's going to be tough, the transitions are where Rodtang will get caught or maybe he catches DJ early and gets a stoppage quite possible just not as likely.
