I've been wondering about how the DSO2512G compares to the Hantek and Owon similar. Amazing the price IMO. Just saw recently 10GHz measured using the TinySA Ultra as well for another, that's interesting moment.

The LCD backlight is quite bright and can be adjusted so outdoor viewing is not an issue. But the red trace doesn't have the same contrast as the standard yellow and cyan or green color.

Hmm `there are some good functions but if it was under $100 it would fly off the shelves. I found one for €155 think i'll get it as it's in my budget and has a half decent capacitance testing range.

Great review but screen size, dodgy specs and that red trace all adds up to no deal for me. No idea why it's called an AWG !....cheers.
I think this is the budget scope for me. Also has a pretty good range for capacitance testing.

Yeah, a red trace on a black background is a stupid choice of colour. Why not white like the rest of the screen.

You can get higher frequency measurements from the oscilloscope no? Not as accurate though.
Yes, you could measure beyond the specified frequency range, the amplitude drops significantly out of the spec'd range though.
