You use so much EVE jargon it is impossible to follow the video, without constantly stopping, and having to google the language you are using. It completely foriegn to a BEGINNER. This a video for experienced players who want to switch to being a miner...big difference.
I think a mining guide solely for omega isn't likely to gain much attention or recognition since omega characters with access to all these ships likely already know what to do.
How is this 8 days old and not realise Retriever is better than Procurer, sure procurer tanks more but Retriever out mines it as well give you plenty of time to mine, its not even a weak hull now🙃
Take a Orca, a few Hulks, fit the Higgs Anchor to the orca, fly the orca aligned to a safe while webbing it with a hulk. You will be slowboating trough the belt with like 50m/s, and instawarp away with ur main ship.
You do know you’re completely wrong by saying a retriever doesn’t out mine a covetor or proc… (it does), and an afk ship? You shouldn’t be going afk anyway and having the biggest cargo hold is what keeps you on grid longer making more isk. This is a terrible guide for new players, or even amateurs.

this is not a mining guide for beginners ... beginners - and especially Alpha - can only use the Venture ... once you outgrow the school systems - keep your eye out for Orcas or Porpoises while you are wandering the rest of the universe. these are ORE command ships that can boost miners _(increasing yield and shield resistances)_ ... the other entry into fleets is to look in the Agency window ... if you like mining with the Industrial Career Agent - keep it in mind when the inevitable recruiters from player owned corporations ask for a chat - and ask them about paths forward.
Just remember that a procurer/skiff has the looooooooooongest align time so if the enemy gets on grid, you in for the fight. Don't care if you like it or not.
Since the Hulk got nerfed, I think the Mackinaw is now the best of the exhumers (same for the retriever), as long as you're in a fleet. And even if you aren't, I think retriever is still the best for solo hisec in 9.0 or higher.

I disagree I use the retriever In abysal space to mine with and it provides the biggest yield, as long as you know what your doing can bring home close to 40 million a load
"The Rorqual is the hardest ship to fly in the game..." Dude... only if you got no clue what you are doing. The Rorq is a decent ship but for a totally different role than it had a few years back. But not necessarily a difficult ship to fly. You simply need a good routine and a good infrastructure, then you are actually quite safe.
That is the point. There is a lot of buttons and you need to know when to press which button. Also like there is groups *cough* PH and FRT *cough* who don't know how to fit a Rorqual.
I dropped enough of PH and FRT Rorqs to say that some of them know how to fit a Rorq. Also FRT realized how to setup their infrastructure to enable a good environment for their rorqs to mine and switched to aggressively protecting their Rorq players with a standing fleet. But there will be always players too greedy to fly a fit that is optimal.

@@i-401_yt Congratulations on being wrong. Hulks have a really big hold - but - they are also extremely expensive. If you are mullti boxing it's not like you are going to be only buying one ship. .

Well the problem is mining is not really a new player thing, as most new players are an alpha in the first place. It's the new player trap.

A single catalyst can gank a full tank fit retriever. Not a procurer.

tbh barge is quite easy to get. I litteraly started palying eve for the first time this friday and had a covetor by this morning (omega account)

@@denizissimo long spin up time still. Remember that you have to be 75% max speed to engage warp. Easy to get warp disrupted/scrammed.

Bruh when you are multiboxing 10+ barges mining moon you want a retriver unless you want to compress 10+ barges every 30 seconds.
I used to multibox that much and used Hulks + Rorq. Really see no reason for Retrievers.
