Sen. Bernie Sanders, 78, was hospitalized after experiencing some chest discomfort during a campaign event, according to a senior advisor.
"Following medical evaluation and testing he was found to have a blockage in one artery and two stents were successfully inserted," his campaign said in a statement.
Sanders' campaign is canceling his events and appearances until further notice
