  • What's going on boys and girls!
In this video we are exploring some abandoned caravans that are getting ready to be demolished.
These were someones pride and joy for many many years but sadly the site is now derelict and it's getting redeveloped.
    Cool experience to see though!
    Big love,
    Boss

Thank you Lisa 🙏🏽 I agree with you there, it seems a complete shame to just completely wreck them, but I’ll keep an eye on the site and will see if any others are added and make another video

I can remember caravans having gas lamps in them. They often had curtains between the living room and kitchen too. There was no indoor loo and we had to use the shower block or a potty during the night! Then people started having loos in the van sheds! So upmarket. Then eventually had a loo in the van and a shower/small bath. My parents had caravans for years so remember them from 1960s until end of the 80s. Children would roam around on their bikes making friends and only going back for meals. Now me and my oh rent caravans if we want to use one. We prefer the Haven sites to be honest. How interesting seeing the derelict ones

Thank you for sharing the above with me Kaz, really appreciate it. Sounds like a very similar experience to what my father tells me about and it honestly sounds like the best times. I miss having a caravan myself, but looking at booking France for next year and that’ll be my first time staying in a caravan for a number of years (I cannot wait)

Homeless people could do with a caravan at least, so yeah that one swell bunch of waist.

Good video, these bring back so many memories of when i was 10 back in the seventies, we used to stay in one at Dawlish Warren in Devon, used to love them, I’m currently renting a flat but am seriously thinking of buying a park home to live in permanently !

Thank you for the viideo. I wish this was near me, I'd love to take (buy for a small sum) a coupke. At least they should be dis-assembled rather than scrspped, so much could easily be reused.

Hi Mate! Loved your video! Any suggestions on where to find more sites like these? I want to make a film that uses a disused static caravan. The ones in this video would be perfect! Just a shame I'm all the way in Leeds!

You post this video a homeless person will look through someone's window watching the video and the homeless person will go ahead and live in one of those caravans and I know it is very unlikely but I'm just saying
