At 8 yo, her English is already perfect while English is not her mother /national language.
That is so amazing!💜
but in the family she was used to being able to speak English since little . Her parents teach in everyday activities.
She told that in other video
So i think , maybe for local language she didn't master well. Because Javanese (bahasa Jawa) there are 3 levels for different generation/ situation. Or if she live in Yogyakarta, at least she should have master 2 local languages, and i think she's not good so much to speak in the language of kasultanan Yogya.
( I myself live in Purwokerto, not so far from Yogya, i have to master, or at least understand all three levels of Javanese )

This is crazy to think that it wasn’t so long ago that Putri Ariani was just 8, and won Indonesias Got Talent, and it even crazier to know that Putri is doing what she does now at only 17 years, and the fact that she has been singing since probably a toddler makes her almost a 17 year veteran of singing, playing multiple instruments ( at vurtuoso levels I might add) and writing songs and arranging music. This is why she feels she is ready to be a world superstar at ONLY 17!
Imagine being eight years old and singing in a completely different language! It’s WAY beyond amazing!! Love everything about her at eight and at seventeen…her energy and positivity are contagious! The world is yours,sweetheart!!

I also heard the daughter singing, always crying... even though I am a man who has difficulty crying, oooh God, I am really lucky to be able to cry. This is the first time I have heard a song that can cry continuously... and it is good for the health of my eyes and heart....

Even though im indonesian i just found out that putri ariani had followed Indonesia got talent 2014 in 8 year old and has become a winner😅, the lesson that we can learn from Putri ariani is that she has Strong mentality, self-confidence and a high zest for life,Which is sometimes not owned by normal people
Agree. I first saw her in AGT and was like: "waw, what a positive, n confident person." - Simon used the word "glow', couldnt agree more. Back to watching her journey in utube & in vlogs - only one word came out from me: Angel.
Her energy is so contagious. And her attitude toward life is what brings her to now and further beyond. She advises her sisters the same: "have a passion, follow them, never give up!" - that's why she's always learning n growing. She does it cause she wants it. What an inspiration she is!

I'm shocked! I saw this girl several years ago on YT but didn't think anything of it. Now, she's 17 and I've been following her ever since her incredible AGT performance. WoW!
Again another sincere and heartfelt reaction from you guys, we really apreciate it. I watched this performance when it was broadcasted on our national television and at the time i also happened to have a baby girl with the same age with her who is perfect but didn't sing nor speak English at the time but damn this little girl on TV with her limitation was able to sing an English song, even crazier it's a BEYONCE's song, so perfectly despite her disability, and look at her now, she's evolving to the right direction, and the whole world is watching her and loving her, just WOW!!! Hat's up to Putri's parents for their unconditional devotion, they succeed to bring Putri closer and closer to her dream, salute!!

I haven't seen that video before. Thank you for bringing it up. Anggun is a French singer, but was born in Indonesia. Putri's dad always smiles. I think that's because he ran out of tears already. I bet he has been through alot. I wish them the best in their future endeavors
