I know that I requested this and sorry I'm only just checking it out now, but I appreciate it!
Exeter St. David’s is always a really busy station and a good place to record announcements at. South Western Railway operate their services to here from London Waterloo, CrossCountry run services that call here en route from Plymouth/Penzance to Scotland and GWR run services from Devon and Cornwall to London Paddington with their collection of 800s, and they also run the local services to Exmouth, Paignton and Barnstaple.
Yes, I tried Exeter St David’s this weekend but the announcements were switched off
@@Parallel395 Exeter St David’s is now split into A and B platforms so will make for an interesting session with Rogers A and B.
@@faberoony90 Interesting, thanks. Rodger announces A and B at Southampton Central for some services but would be interesting to hear them at Exeter. I noticed a while ago that the signage at Cardiff Central Platforms 1 and 2 have been divided into A and B too though the announcements haven’t been updated.
Can you do Hull next please
Hi. Can I use, download and modify these announcements for my gaming youtube series?
Go for it!
@@Parallel395 Thank you! When you can please do the Liverpool Lime Street announcements.
@@gb.gamerbug it is on my list to do but probably won’t be for a while due to lockdown restrictions there
When can you do Edinburgh Waverley again cheers
I could've Swarn I heard eryl/Glyn doing an English announcement today at Llandudno junction!
He's recorded a tactile paving announcement
@@Parallel395 have you got enough recordings to do an "English Eryl" compilation? with him having also done "Transport for Wales, your new train operator" and Covid announcements.
Why was the 1801 ATW not calling at Dovey Junction or Borth?
To my knowledge it has never called at those two stations because of the short turn around time at Aberystwyth
@@Parallel395 oh right, I didn't actually know that. thanks for the reply!
@@Parallel395 oh yeah, it's the same one that (now) passes through Bow Street. I didn't realise it also passes through Dovey Junction and Borth.
@@Parallel395when she said Dovey Junction, the first thing I thought of was this “as you leave the train at this station, please mind the gap”
2:25 ‘talybont’ sounds like Phil
I can see where you're coming from, even if its obviously not.
