Bardcore blew up but somehow they all just never sounded as good as the OGs you've made. Thanks for uploading, I've missed your covers.
I feel like this guy puts his own spin on the rhythm. He slows stuff down increases tempo etc in different places to where the song sounds similar to what its supposed to emulate but makes it its own thing as well.

Exactly! I think that's the trick to arranging Bardcore. Simultaneously the same yet different.
Being a musician in feudal times was such a lucky gift. Kings would keep you around because there was literally no other source of music around and if you couldn't tell already, people love good music. No matter what race, sex, continent, or even time period. Ancient peoples could be swayed by the power of music. It's the language of God. It speaks to the infinite. Imagine walking into a castle or tavern and hearing this absolute banger. Timeless

Although it's been 804 years since his passing, I still reminisce about his absence every day as if it was yesterday.

for some reason the instruments used combined with the song made my head cool down. this actually could be good study music.
Why do I feel so sad listening to this music. It has the vibe but also the loneliness like someone's on top of the cliff looking far away to his hometown reminisncing his chilhood past like he wanted to bring it back and those happy memories he had when he was young.
I don't know why, but the first 11 seconds REALLY resonate with my soul. It's just a soothing introspective start to the song that makes you think about life.
The war was over. Now you're in a tavern with your brothers who fought bravely. You're all dancing and laughing and at the same time commemorating the lost brothers who sacrificed their lives to give their citizens a peaceful future. Beers are flowing. Maidens are working hard. You can smell these warriors' tipsy breath. The whole place is full of light and a complete mess. It was wonderful.

@Vox Animalium yep, cause I think that when you start a whole new musical genere or at least something fitting for the time, as I know that bard core is a joke but a welcomed one; but anyway his work is original and many you tubers just piled up and copied (in a bad way) the songs or his content so yeah no wonders he is the best .. the other di mad just some waky covers.
Actually he was not the first - people like Algal the Bard have been making stuff for years. Cornelius does seem to have (to a large extent) started the craze, though, and certainly he's very good at what he does.

The thing about Lord Cornelius is that he doesn’t just remix any popular songs, he only uses ones that somehow translate incredibly well into bard-core, as well as high quality sounds, the rhythm,the fact that the instruments don’t clash with the song at all and that’s amazing.
The mixing/mastering on these songs is actually really good. I'm deadass going to reference this guy's music when looking to mixing tips
Among all the extraordinary bardcore covers developed in this period, I feel Cornelius Link's ones sound the best. They are so well made, I can actually feel very medieval just listening to them and it's amazing the care put on the instruments... I really appreciate man.
