- Nicolás Hernán Gonzalo Otamendi (born 12 February 1988) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays for F.C. Porto in Portugal, as a central defender.
In his professional career he played for Vélez Sársfield and Porto.
An Argentine international since 2009, Otamendi represented the country at the 2010 World Cup.

I know Barcelona wants otamendi or mangala... I can tell you that at this moment i prefere that you buy mangala. He is better than otamendi, is more complete, faster and it expensive :p but at this moment we dont have anyone to replace otamendi, he is so solid!! When it seems that we gonna suffer a goal he is there and tackles... He is so consistent, he give lot of security.
